Definite quote of the day:
Kitty: "Wow Ken, you're so stiff!"
Ken: "That's what happens when you sit in front of the computer."
This was a classic moment when Kitty was giving me a massage in front of everybody. No comment =)
Well, today started off kind of dull. Actually, it was very gloomy as I attended the funeral possession of my uncle who just passed away. There were many tears, and the sky was a little cloudy, but thank God it finally cleared up. It is very unfortunate that he died so young, but he has gone on to a better place, and he will always be with us spiritually.
The afternoon did cheer me up a lot though. Lo, despite his absolutely terrible sense of planning, was able to pull off quite a fun day. Now aren't you glad I nagged you to organize yourself more? Hehe. Although it did start out a little slow as we all sat around watching people on tv cook, making "oooh!" sounds when the final product was revealed, eventually we got into a waterfight in his backyard! As juvenile as it may seem, it was so much fun running around with our plastic water guns and soaking each other with icy-cold hose water. I thought that went rather well as we blew away like an hour and a half like that, and there wasn't much of a mess in the end either, although there was a dripping line-up for the bathroom to change into dryer clothing although they could've changed in the laundry room like I did instead of waiting.
After that we decided to head off to the park to enjoy some sunshine and dry off a little as some people had decided NOT to bring a change of clothes and/or a towel. As for me, I decided to just sit on the grass and watch people since my sandals were still soaked through. We spent like two maybe three hours just sitting in the field and chilling in the park where we almost broke the plastic slide along with some of my toes. We didn't do anything too exciting at this point, but it was really nice outside and felt good to just hang around and chat.
Dinner was rather *ahem* interesting. There wasn't quite enough real food, a huge surplus of dessert. See, that's what happens when you try to organize the pot luck the day before the party! Well, the food wasn't amazing, but it was good enough I guess, and none of us were exactly starving anyways. As usual, there were moments of complete silence at our table because we always have this weird habit of eating in complete silence...maybe we're just too polite or something...no, that can't be it. Suprisingly, we actually had some intellectual conversations at the table at one point! I don't even remember what we were discussing, but it wasn't as stupid as our usual bejabberings about each other, haha.
After that we watched Drumline. In terms of actual story line and movie, it wasn't the best but I think it was more than good enough. The actual drumlining though...wow, I had never seen a band so impressive! I could just imagine how much fun it would be to play in such a dynamic band, marching and moving in cool formations yet playing with such great precision. The movie made me almost wish that I played regularly in the percussion section, but then I thought, nah, nothing could draw me away from my blessed alto sax =).
That was pretty much the whole night, and all in all, it was a lot of fun. Too bad there was a huge mess for Lo to clean up in the end...oh well, it was nothing compared to the mess that the guys leave at my place sometimes!
Well, that's all for now.

Ahh, haven't blogged for quite a while. There have been things I've been doing and stuff, but I keep forgetting the details, so I don't bother blogging them, and I've been feeling too exhausted to blog lately anyways.
Today I found out that I didn't make it for honour band. Actually, I was considered "back-up" just in case one of the other altos dropped out or couldn't go. In the letter they made it sound so special to be back-up "we carefully selected only one or two participants as back-up." wow! So big fucking deal, I'm not going to waste my time playing as a back-up if they need one; I'd rather do another critique on their performance next year, and it will probably be more or less the same as the 2-page critique I made this year (had you read it, you would know what I mean).
Yesterday I went to our Third Stream recording session. We actually had a recording session like 2 weeks back while school was still going, but it wasn't that good and I wasn't there in those recordings anyways. As it turns out, we had even less people show up to this recording session, but it was okay since they didn't have any critical solos anyways. Most of the songs we recorded were pretty good, but it kinda sucks that we had to use the mini electric keyboard that sounded like one of those tiny pianos you hear in those comical silent films, haha. The last song we recorded sounded absolutely brutal! We recorded We Three Kings last, which in my opinion, was the best song we had in our repetoire. Unfortunately, we hadn't touched that since Christmas Concert! Well whaddya expect! I was trudging along trying to remember all the notes and rhythms, and pulled that part off nicely, but I went horribly out of tune when I tried to screech out that high C, which would be considered on the higher end of the alto's range of notes, haha. It was fun, although tiring, and it would probably be the last time I ever see all the Third Stream members who were graduating. As for me, I too am leaving Third Stream because it is just going to be too much for my schedule next year. It was a lot of fun to be involved with a great jazz choir this year, but I felt it was just pulling my marks down and making me more exhausted then I needed to be. Thanks to all the members of Third Stream and Mrs. Caswell, as I depart from my final year of choir. It's been great.
Well, that's all for now, I can't really remember anything else I did, other than play computer and such. Later.

Another week has gone by, and I move another week closer to summer school...*sob*. Oh well, at least it wasn't as boring as the weeks before. Yesterday I went to Serena's birthday gathering, and although I bowled like crap, I had lots of fun. I don't understand why, but about 70% of my frames resulted in 9 pins! THAT really pissed me off, because 9 pin frames aren't going to push me past 100 points! But oh well, it's not like it really mattered anyways. I tried bowling with the 16 pound ball, using my left hand, and I think my whole left arm almost collapsed because it was so heavy, haha. It was pretty funny during the first game when we were trying to distract the person bowling and making them screw up by pushing them or tapping them. Then there was Tom with his huge overhead toss which caused a huge *thud* on the floor but resulted in a spare! Haha, pretty neat.
I can't wait to spend more time with my friends, you guys are the best!
That's all for now, I guess.

Yeeeohzers - it is freaking HOT in this room! I'm starting to sweat just by sitting in here...yuck. Ever since I brought back my speaker from school and put it in my computer room (along with the stereo of course), this place has been cookin' like a sauna. I don't care how hot it is, just as long as the speaker I made is working! I'm so proud of myself! I've got my colour organ up here too, but I haven't hooked it up because the wires I originally made it with were far too short, so I'm going to have to do a little repairing! Ugh, I'm probably going to burn myself with the soldering iron like 50 times by the time I'm through with the first joint.
I couldn't just fit all this stuff in my computer room though, it would be impossible with the whole year's mess of papers and books lying around, and I mean the whole year. Sometimes people exaggerate how they have items at the bottom of their piles of junk that was from like way-back, but I found a number of miscellaneous things that are worth noting. The first item I found quite humerous was the STSE assignment sheet for physics, which was due...I have no idea, but that was like a while back. That wasn't quite as old as the Honour Band Concert Program from their concert back at the start of the year! Now I KNOW that should not be still be here, so I tossed it out along with other crap like the first copy of my visual essay, haha. I found this huge stack of miscellaneous old assignments and handouts sitting in one of my shelves, so without even bothering to look at what it contained, I tried tossing it to the garbage bag outside the room but somehow over-threw it to a point where the papers went flying in a flurry down the stairs, leaving a mess all over the place! Leave it to me to under-estimate my strength!
Performing at the Duchess on monday was a lot of fun, although Mr. Caswell kept forgetting to give me a mic on the songs where I had a solo, which was pretty annoying. It really sucked that the school had just returned the rented soprano sax, so it made it increasingly hard just to play the damn thing in tune, forget even trying to play anything over a high C! Oh well, I only used the soprano sax once, so it wasn't a big deal, even though we played Rocky twice, and I had to play a solo on alto without a mic, so I just played as many squeaky notes as I could, haha. My favourite solos were in Eye of the Tiger (because it has like the best changes and it's in the best key) and Esperanto (because I had 64 bars of solo, 'nuff said!). The actual performance wasn't top notch, but it was good enough I guess. Third stream sang a couple songs; they sounded pretty good, and I really liked the in-between smaller performances too. Ah, it saddens me to be leaving MMBB finally, after two full years of playing saxaphone for jazz. It is going to be weird playing in the senior jazz band next year, where we'll have to set the standard for the school, but I guess we all just have to move on.
I played with the grade 11 band on tuesday in the pops concert. Ewwww, that was sooooo bad! I don't think it had so much to do with the way we played it, but more with the songs chosen. Oh well, I'm glad that we had another chance to perform though, and it's not like I had to suffer through more band practices anyways. It was so sad to watch the wind symphony perform, because I knew for almost all of them, this would be last time they would ever perform on the instrument that they played, and it would be such a waste because they are such fine players too. I hope that they all have a successful future and one day start playing their instruments again! As for me, I leave on a meloncholy note too in music too. Despite how odd this may seem, I'm really going to miss playing under the lead of Mr. Caswell, because he's been conducting the band I played in for all my years in high school. It will be a very strange transition playing under Mr. Thomas' lead next year, but from what I hear, he too is an excellent conductor, so perhaps it's not all at a loss!
Hmmm...the end of this school year just doesn't feel the same as the others...it's very strange to leave the term without the stressful weeks of study (or "study" for me) and massive projects. I mean, I did do some of the big projects already (grr, math...), but I didn't really go through any major stress, and I had a huge two week weekend without any homework, so I don't really feel the relief of an ending year, but rather, an odd emptiness. Maybe it won't feel so odd once I start going to summer school in July...yay, go Travel and Tourism! Ugh...
Anyways, I'm starting to fatigue a bit and I'm sweating like a pig in this room right now, so that's all for now!

I don't know why people can't read my blogs with the colours that I entered in the code. In fact, it looks perfectly fine on my screen, with the black text versus white background, which is the greatest contrast. However, people should've been able to read them when I had light-purple text versus black background...well, anyways, leave a shout and tell me whether you are still highlighting my text to read it.
Sunday, June 15, 2003
I finally figured out how to fix the stupid colours in the background of my blogspot! Ugh, I still haven't really done what I wanted, which was to make only the right side stuff with a dark blue background and not the top portion too, but oh well, I'll leave that for another day 'cause it will probably take me another week to figure it out.
Yesterday I went to Jason's house and a bunch of us went to the park. I'm not sure what was going on, but we kinda kept changing the game that we were playing. At first, we were just tossing two frisbees and a football around between the seven of us, but then we started whipping the frisbee or football at each other. Finally, trying not to look too stupid, we decided to play some ultimate frisbee. It was fun for a while, but all of us got so tired and a bunch of us stopped trying, so the game changed to full contact ultimate football frisbee, which really doesn't make any sense, since now we could run with the frisbee, which would almost totally defeat the challenge (at least to us) of throwing it...not only that, the play still continued after the frisbee fell on the floor, so it was kind of like rugby too, so we had ultimate rugby football frisbee? I don't know, it was pretty stupid, but fun as hell! To think that it couldn't get any more retarded, we decided to make it free-for-all, which makes ABSOLUTELY no sense what-so-ever! So basically, if you had the frisbee, you were going to get tackled to the floor by everybody, and I was wearing white pants! It was like impossible to take down Jason, I think Jim had to pretty much take a running jump at Jason and pull him to the floor haha. Now we weren't done at the park yet. We thought it would be fun if we played a game of whip the frisbee/football at the other person more, except in an organized fashoin! Wow, we were getting creative today...so now we had to stay within a square field space, and you had to stay still and let the other person throw the object at you, and if somebody was outside retrieiving a thrown then you could run around like crazy inside the square! What the hell were we thinking! I think the most logical thing we did that day was having a frisbee throwing contest, and in the end Jason and Sean could toss it the furthest at more-or-less similar distances.
We all headed down to some convenience store afterwards, where we almost all of us bought slushies (or that cola thing, as Jim was trying to recall it, haha). Jason mixed cream soda and coke in his, and I mixed coke and orange in mine...by accident. Originally I had just filled it with coke, and then I drank (or ate?) some off the top, so I wanted to fill it up more, but I was watching Jim fill his with coke thinking that mine was also filling up with coke, realizing afterwards that there was only one coke dispenser! Haha, it still tasted good though, suprisingly good actually.
Back at Jason's house we started playing marvel (as usual), and we predicted that some of us would probably be doing the exact same stuff 20 years from now, which really doesn't seem too far-fetched, sadly. We were watching some of the gr9 videos on Jason's computer too, and some of the people were so funny because they had the exact same expressions that they use nowadays (like Tom, the EXACT same eyebrow raising, haha). Partway through, Jay turned on like 4 or 5 webpages all playing that stupid "You are my friend" music at different times, so it was this really eiree mess of sounds that was so retardedly funny. Anyways, I eventually went home, and talked to people until two in the morning.
Today, I went to Alex Shum's house to practice on his recital piece. I was there for about 2 hours, and we probably practiced about half an hour. We spent the rest of the time playing blind chess and chinese checkers, where we tied the first game of blind chess and he beat me at chinese checkers two times, even though, in theory, I should've won the second game because I helped dig him out of a nearly impossible situation, despite the fact that he was in the lead by a crapper load. It was all fun though.
Well, I learned how to make a comments box at the end of each post, so give me a shout, or rather, leave me a shout whenever you visit!
That's all for now, tah tah!

Hey hey!
Yeah, apparently I'm stuck back at home again. It's not that I'm being confined now, it's just that they don't want me hanging around the school since there is no point in me being there. However, there really isn't a point in anybody being there considering that all the summatives and finals are pretty much over, so what difference would that make for me? Buh, whatever, I'll just stay home and do nothing. At least I don't need to bother finishing my electronics project now.
I went to banquet last night, and it pretty much went as expected. The food was the exact same stuff as last year, which was the exact same stuff as the year before that: dry chicken, potato balls, baby carrots, salad, pasta, and bread...well it wasn't completely disgusting, but it wasn't the most delictable stuff I've ever had...and as usual, I didn't finish my food, and I didn't want to anyways. At least the food was a little better prepared than last year. However, unlike last year, our table got out food LAST because somebody at our table decided to persuade the MC's to call our table...oh well, we weren't missing much anyways.
I don't know who was djing, but I thought most of the music was pretty badly chosen. A lot of the music was very hard to dance to because it was too slow and/or the rhythm was a little weird. There also definitely wasn't enough trance music...I wanted to glow string a bit, but I hadn't put the string through the loops so I decided I'd try later...but there wasn't a later, since there was no more trance music! There wasn't enough slow dance music either, I didn't even get to dance with any of the girls I wanted to...but oh well, that wasn't a big concern for me. I was pretty impressed with myself as it was; I didn't sit down at all! Usually I have to take a couple breathers in between, but last night I was pretty much up for the whole hour and a half. Go me.
The awards ceremony was soooooo long! The grad rost didn't actually take too long, but most of the things they said about the graduates were either mean or just stupid, so that didn't go too well. There were so many awards to give out, but that wasn't so bad, because that's the stuff that's really necessary. The two speeches afterwards about the grade twelves and the OAC's just kept dragging on and on though! I mean, they didn't need to make TWO speeches, geez. The slide show afterwards was okay, nothing too spectacular. At least there was music in that and a change in pictures unlike listening to someone stand at the podium droning on and on.
I did enjoy banquet a lot overall though, since I got to spend a lot of time with the friends I hadn't seen in so long and dancing with the ladies is always great. I hope next year will be even better.
This morning I hit a new record in my history in playing subspace: I met the 100million point mark! Highest score for me in seven years, haha. Yeah, I know it's pretty pathetic, but at least I'm proud!
I guess that's all I've got for now.

Finally, the last day. I am through with this confinement. Today, once again, was much like all my other days, I really didn't do much work; practiced piano until my hands hurt again, and I worked on my design report for 4 or 5 paragraphs more, no biggy.
At lunch, I watched one of my favourite chinese comedies, The Tricky Master. That guy is hilarious, I swear, he could make any movie funny. I've seen this movie a few too many times though, so it wasn't all that interesting, but the jokes are still good.
For my dinner movie, I just had to watch Mulan again, seventh time. This being like the last meal-movie I'd ever have, I had to watch the best of all the movies. It's such a good movie, and I absolutely love the music in it! It actually got me to thinking today: it must be a lot of fun to be in an orchestra playing the background music to a Disney cartoon, because you get to emphasize the dynamics to such great proportions since cartoons stress on that in their characters already. The person who does the voice for Mulan has the prettiest voice ever, gets to me every single time she sings "Reflections", and it's so nice...hehe. This is probably the last time I'll watch it for a long long time, so I was kinda pissed...but it's still the best movie ever!
These last two weeks have been indescribably boring. I really miss seeing all my friends and spending time with them. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, despite early band practice. This has really felt like a really long weekend, and it really sucks that every single day was honestly the same. However, the two weeks did pass suprisingly fast, and I've still been able to make some pretty thick blog posts even with the repetition of each day.
I'm really looking forward to music banquet on friday. I know it'll be a blast dancing with all my favourite ladies, and just hanging out with all my friends.
Well, it will be 1 day until my return. See ya'll tomorrow!
I probably won't be posting as often from now on.
That's all for now.

*guh* I'm so tired today. Playing too much computer, but oh well...it's not like I have anything else better to do. This home thing is getting old, really fast. Actually, it got old on like the second day, when I was already bored out of my mind...meh, another day, another blog.
I started working on my electronics design report today. I was planning on finishing the whole report and typing out all the "research" by today. In the end, I got the first paragraph written on my to-be 5 page design portfolio (duotang actually). What the hell was I thinking when I thought I could finish it today...well, realistically, I could finish the report in about an hour, but an hour of real work translates to about 1 week in my world, so technically I should've started working on this last week. It's oll korrect though, I still have until Friday to finish it! Whoopee...
I stepped outside today for the first time in almost two weeks! It was so exhilerating; I felt like I was suddenly high on fresh air or something, it just didn't feel usual. Being cooped up for so long, I decided to go on a bike ride out in the hood. Unfortunately, the tires on my bike were lacking much air when I found the bike, so I had to pump them up with the foot pump. The stupid pump took me like half an hour to figure out how to use; in the end, it was just cause the metal peice that was supposed to come out with the needle was jammed in the stupid nozzle! After that, pump pump pump and I was ready to go. Headed off to the school where I thought some of the jazzie's just finished practice (this was around 4:45pm), but they weren't there! Nobody informed me that there was no band tonight! Oh well, my trip wasn't a total loss; visited Mr. Patterson and he gave me some more materials to finish my electronics project, so that worked out fine. I really wasn't supposed to talk with anybody in person outside of the house, for, according to the government, I was a walking disease pool and I might infect somebody else! Pah! I don't care, I needed to talk to somebody! That bike ride was great though, although only half an hour of the time I was out was spent physically on the bike.
My lunch movie today was Mulan, again! Such a good movie, the music is just so perfect, and the storyline is ingenius! I never get tired of watching this movie, and it's great because it's only 88 minutes long. After watching the movie, I watched the music videos that came as special features on the DVD. Okay, okay, so Christina Aguilera isn't that bad of a singer, in fact, she's pretty damn good...she sings in a different style than that of the voice of Mulan. However, I still think the person voicing Mulan is a million times better because her voice is so much sweeter and purer! Bleh, I'm getting obsessed over a song, haha (It's a good song, download it..."Reflections"...get the Mulan version). The other music video on the DVD was "True To Your Heart" by 98 degrees. It's a good song, and Stevie Wonder looks hilarious when he's singing. He just kinda stands there with his chin perfectly level and he just wiggles his body a bit, haha (ok, it was funny when I watched it). Download that song too, unless you really don't like that kind of pop music.
At dinner, I watched True Lies...it was a pretty cool action movie, until the DVD screwed up! I pushed it in and out so many and even blew on it a bit, but still it was all messed up at that point of the movie, so I stopped watching. Ah well, I was done my dinner anyways.
I spent about an hour and fifteen minutes talking with Sean on the phone today. I swear, that guy has some of the funniest stories to tell! There was that time that he walked deep into the woman's changeroom, well, several different stories of that actually...haha. Then there was that time he signed up for the wrong division in some marathon, and got his division changed at the very end, stealing the gold medal off the poor guy AFTER he had already put it on...burn!
Well, today wasn't so bad I guess. The countdown is now just 2 days to my return!

Yesterday blogger was down for an hour, and that was the hour that I wanted to put my blog entry of the day...so I didn't do it, but I'll make up for it now. Just pretend this was yesterday's blog.
T'was a typical monday morning (typical because every morning felt like this monday morning), and I woke up and did the usual routine eat, play computer games, you get the picture). I was planning to do some actual productive school work today, because for some reason Mr. Patterson (my electronics teacher) was expecting me to finish my design report and my FM transmittor (the project) while I was at home and have it completed when I arrived at school. Well, I contemplated doing it, but then I decided I could probably finish it in two days time, so why bother with it now? Psh!
However, to compensate for the work-less day, I still managed to practice Shum's accompaniment part for a good half hour. I swear, my hand must be stretching more and more each day because of those stupid double octave runs! Each day after practice, I can't feel my thumb and pinky tips on both hands and my hands feel like they're going to fall apart! But it's a nice song, and for a good purpose, so I practice anyways.
I worked a little bit on HTML again, got a little bit further, but somehow I can't seem to change the font very much. The textbook says to type blah blah blah, and blah to get this kind of an effect, but it doesn't work! It does change the font a little bit, but that change could've been done just by inputting one command (blah!) to output the exact same thing! Ugh, stupid HTML.
At lunch I watched Armageddon, which was kind of cool, I guess. The movie was good enough to last me through lunch, and partway into my afternoon too since it's such a long movie. It wasn't exactly boring as hell, but it wasn't too exciting either...I won't be putting that back in for a while.
My dinner movie was Miss Congeniality! I remember seeing this on the last day of school in grade 9 in like ALL my classes, and I hated it so much! But now that I watched it at home (the whole movie now), it's a pretty comedious movie. I think I could stand to watch it again soon, but I've still got a stack of other movies I can watch, so I might get back to it later.
Computer games have been the same old, getting a little boring, but oh well. The countdown sits at 3 days to my return!

The weekend has finally come to an end, but it's not like I can really tell, considering everyday of the week feels the same damn same. My computer games just get more and more boring, man...
Well, I did manage to do some real physical labour today: house chores! That's right, even I have to do that once in a while, and that being my first time in many many years. I had to learn how to use a vacuum by myself; despite how easy it is to do, it's still pretty damn tiring. Well, this took me about 20 minutes to vacuum the whole house, so that wasn't too bad. I decided to practice a little piano afterwards, which probably wasn't such a good idea since I was tired from the vacuuming. The time I sat there wasn't quite as long today, but my arms were still pretty worn out by the time I stopped.
I worked a little bit on my HTML again. I managed to play around with images a bit and do a bit of text positioning, just some basics. You can see it here, but it's still really nothingish. Oh well, at least you can see my current desktop wallpaper and you can link to google.
At lunch, I watched Rush Hour 2, again. I was a little weary because I woke up not long before, so I needed the simple straight-forward kung fu movie to kick me into gear again. To say the least, I got many good laughs (despite how many times I've seen it) and I could move on with life.
My dinner time movie was pretty cool, The Thomas Crown Affair. It starred that guy that plays James Bond in James Bond movies, except in this movie, he was Thomas Crown (wow...). Basically Thomas Crown is this rich guy that steals a painting from a museum and puts it back without them knowing it was returned, because he painted over it with water colours and stuff. It was pretty neat, he has sex with this inspector woman like a kajillion times and in the end he had planned out the whole game (or the movie, as it seems). Anyways, it was a very interesting movie.
The rest was the same old. The countdown to my return is 4 days now!

Another day goes by, same old boring schedule. Woke up, play computer, eat lunch, watch movie, etc... HOWEVER, I did some REAL work today! That's right! Even I do something productive eventually.
I've a task to perform, and that is to accompany my good friend Shum on piano for some recital thing (?, oh well). Consequently, I sat at the piano and practiced for a whole hour and a half! I have not done that in at least a year, even I'm impressed. It's really not that complicated of a song, in fact, it's very simple: double octaves thundering in triplet eighth notes! But not in any recognizable pattern, of course not, that would be too easy! Skip two here, one there, oooh, let's write the music so that the piano player has to jump FIVE steps to get to the next note! I swear, the person that made this arrangement did NOT know how to play piano, or he has hands that are two octaves wide! Geez, my thumbs and pinky were numb by the end. Ah, it was all in good fun.
At lunch, I watched a movie a saw before, Mulan! I swear, that must be like the best movie ever made. The storyline is just perfect! And the person who does the voice of Mulan sounds a million times sweeter than Christina Aguilera! This must've been like the fourth or fifth time I've seen it in the last two weeks, but I don't care; it's an amazing movie, and I'll probably watch it again! Haha...
My dinner movie was the Mummy RETURNS! Eh, seen it, wasn't a bad movie, but it's not exactly the kind of movie I'll be putting in too many times. It's a pretty funny movie though, those little pigmy critters are the best, running around and wreaking havoc all over the bush. Those mummies that were climbing all over the double decko were hilarious too, half a body and still kicking that guy's butt!
Well, the countdown is down to 5 days now, slowly getting there!

Today, I embarked on a new adventure! Well, I guess it wasn't much of an adventure, but I did do something relatively productive at least. As usual, I woke up, ate a simple breakfast (and I mean simple), and played some computer games. Later on, I tried taking my hand to making my blog spot (this page) a little more attractive, rather than this bland grey and white stuff. It took me about 3 hours just to figure out how to change the colour of the text because the stupid online HTML guides were WRONG! Argh, finally looked it up in the HTML textbook I found on the shelf (all 1100 pages, sheez), and figured out how to use colour. Considering what there is to do around here, that was actually pretty exciting and exhilerating!
Started to teach myself some preliminary calculus too, but thus far it's just been review of conics and other easy math stuff. I reckon calculus shouldn't be too challenging if I finish reading this textbook which is about 1400 pages long (no problem, of course).
My lunch movie was The Mummy. Meh, I've seen it before, wasn't a very big deal, not a bad movie overall I guess. My dinner movie, however, was pretty cool. TOMBSTONE! Awesome name for a town, eh? Typical western style movie, people riding around on horses carrying pistols and shotguns, kind of like counterstrike, except without the horses and absolutely ridiculous outfits. At the gun, I'd say the bad guys hit about 1% of their shots in battle and the good guys about 110% of their shots since sometimes they'd kill two guys in one shot! However, it was mildly disappointing at the low number of headshots, but I guess it's alright, considering that I hardly get any headshots while playing counterstrike either.
Today wasn't so bad I guess, can't see it getting much better though, hehe.
The countdown to my return is 6 days.
That's all for now.

Ahhh, another day at home. I think I spent about 10 hours playing subspace today, and I'm really becoming a point whore (for me at least). I'm getting really bored at home... I tried practicing piano today, but I suck now, I've lost all my technique and power! Ah well =P
Today I contemplated what I would do about banquet. I've obtained a ticket, but I haven't decided if I'm going to ask anybody out to it. It's probably too late anyways since the banquet is next week friday, and the only person I want to ask out has no idea who I am, haha. Pathetic, I know.
My lunch time movie today was Star Wars Episode Two: Attack of The CLONES!!! Ooooh... I heard from most people that it wasn't that good. I dunno, I thought it was awesome, and that amidalla (or however u spell it) was pretty cute, haha. I didn't watch a movie at dinner today, was a little tight on time and anxious to get back to playing subspace since I still had a game going on.
As of today, the countdown to my return is at 7 days.
That's all for now.

Man, staying home is getting so boring. Every single day I do almost the exact same thing, ugh... Well, today at lunch I watched Gladiator, and it is such a long movie. However, I did sit there to watch the whole two and a half hours because it's a pretty damn good movie. My dinner movie was kinda boring. I usually love watching Disney cartoon movies 'cause their so simple yet entertaining, but Prince of Egypt was just pissing me off since some of the characters were saying the most illogical things. Oh well, I couldn't sit there and watch the whole thing even though it was only an hour and a half movie.
The EG stats were reset, so now I have to start my subspace points all over again, ugh.
The countdown till I return sits at 8 days now.
That's all.

Today, was a lot like yesterday, which was a lot like every single day for the past 6 days, except for one small difference. Today, my movie at lunch was "Enemy at the Gates". Great movie, love how those snipers get headshots like every single time (I wish I could do that on CS, lol). However, while I was watching the movie (and gnawing at a chicken wing), I find out...
I DON'T HAVE TO WRITE ANY FINALS OR EXAMS OR DO ANY PROJECTS!!! YAY!!!
So in otherwords, I am done for the school year. Done, kapiche, fini!
Well, I watched Mulan again while eating dinner today because I was really bored and everybody was still at band rehearsal. Life goes on.
Well, my return to school current sits at 9 days, and I'll be counting!

So what the hell have I been doing the past couple days? To put it in as few words as possible: nothing. I know I've got like 50 (or 10) summatives that I should working on or studying for, but I just haven't been in the mood for it. So in turn, I spent most of my time eating, watching movies, or playing computer.
Let's see, in the past 5 days I've seen:
Rush Hour 2 (woot fighting)
Romeo Must Die (woot more fighting)
My Big Fat Greek Wedding (it's alright, i expected more)
Mulan (3 times, haha what a great movie)
Pocahontis (it's good, not as good as mulan)
Shrek (eh, it's starting to get boring)
Rat Race (omg, what a boring movie)
and Shao Lin Soccer (can't get enough of that! hahaha)
On the other hand, I've started composing a piece of music that's currently called "Fanfare", mostly because I haven't taken the time to actually think up of a suitable name, despite the fact that it really sounds nothing like fanfare but more like, uhh, a jumble of 11 instruments. Over 5 days, I've writtin about 26 bars of music, for 11 instruments, which is what, 286 bars? Ugh, takes forever, and it's only like one minute long so far haha.
Counterstrike is starting to get a little boring because the people that play during the day are like, worse than me, and that is pretty sad, considering that i SUCK at counterstrike. On the other hand, I've started becoming active in subspace again! I've gotten like 35 million points over 5 days, which is much more than I usually get over 5 months.
It's great that some of my friends come back everyday from school and tell me things that are going on, like my summative marks. There are some things I DON'T want to know though, like getting 50% on my math summative! Grrr... I worked 9 straight hours on that until 7am in the morning, and I still couldn't finish it! And now to pull 50%, well, I don't think I've done worse...I'm not sure how I'm going to do on the Hamlet quiz either. Thus far, most people have gotten 50% or 60%, except Lo who got like 6/22 (nice man). I probably got like 1/22, but who cares, Hamlet is so boring.
Meh that's it for now I guess...heh
