I decided not to blog for a while because it was the last few days of school, and I thought it might be better if I just spent a little more time on school work for a couple more days, and I think it payed off. I wrote the exam today, handed in my textbook, and marked the end of summer school work! I am so happy that it's all over, but I'm also sad because a month of summer has gone by already. At the beginning I felt like school was just crawling, but after the first week the time absolutely flew. I'm really depressed that I didn't try talking to that cute girl at school too...! I'm not going to bore you with the details. Argh, oh well, there's always next year.
The exam today was not quite what I expected. Originally, she told us that a lot of the questions on the exam would be coming from the tests that we wrote, so she highly suggested we study them. So I studied all the tests, and went back to the dryer memorization sections like statistics. Then I studied my terms and theories, followed by maps! Typically I don't study for exams because during the school year I have to prepare for like 6 or 7 of them, so I just say "Ah, screw it!" *play counterstrike*, but since this was just one course (and an easy one at that), I decided to take a little time to study...like, from 4pm to 2am, haha. Well I guess I didn't really study for most of the time, it was mostly just "study". It wasn't until around 10pm that I really started studying, and then I took a 2 hour counterstrike break in between, then studied for like another hour. Went to sleep at around 2am, and woke up completely exhausted at 7:40am. Feeling completely wasted, I'd have to improvise during the exam!
So I started writing it, and the questions were pretty easy, and pretty familiar too. In fact, every single question on the test was familiar, considering they were ALL from the past tests we wrote! 160 multiple choice, 40 true and false, and 20 short answer, which was mostly just filling out map locations. 220 marks for a 2 hour exam, finished in 50 minutes! I guess I wasn't the only one to find it easy because I was the third one to hand it in. After that I handed it in and went home way ahead of schedule. Honestly, I won't be suprised if I get perfect on this exam, but I'll be shocked if I get under 90% on the exam; there's just no way that I could've done that bad. When my teacher copied the questions from previous tests, she didn't even bother to rearrange the order of the answer selections, so I could even answer some of the questions just by recognizing the wording!
Ahaha, I'm also so relieved that I did well on my ISU! 88/90 on the report + 8.5/10 on the plan + 8.5/10 on presentation, which totals to 105/110, top mark in the class! The reason I'm so relieved though is because I plagerized like a two-sentence paragraph somewhere and my teacher was using a program that could apparently pull stuff from the Internet just by typing in a sentence, meaning she could catch anybody plagerizing REALLY easily! Oh man, I got pretty lucky, but I still worked pretty hard on that ISU, and pretty much 99.9% of it was my work anyways, so it's not like I'm a criminal. So my total summative portion is 95.4% of 15% and probably around 95% of 15%! Sadly, I'm still not going to get the highest mark in the class...*sob*, oh well, it's not like I tried anyways, haha.
I'm so happy, I don't know what else to say. Here's the IRC of the day:

I should really be studying right now. I haven't updated for like 3 days because I've been pretty busy doing one thing or another, so I just kept on putting off my blog. Well, I'll try to remember as much as I can, hehe.
So last Saturday I went to the downtown jazz festival at Queen's. The weather was really nice because it wasn't very hot, although it would've been nice if there was a little more sunshine outside. For dinner we went to a Thai restaurant. The food was pretty good; I had a Thai mango chicken with rice, and it tasted pretty good, although it was kind of cold when it god to me. Oh well, it was still okay. The water came with a wedge of lemon, and I was trying to pick the seeds out of the water with my chopsticks, but I accidentally launched two of them from my glass to Jason's glass. It was okay though, because he still doesn't know. Later I bought some jelly bellies that lasted me until...I'm still eating them right now actually. I think I could've been eating them until next saturday if Mimi's little brother didn't ransack my jellybeans, but it's alright I guess. We didn't do much actual listening to jazz; we mostly just kept walking in one direction. The music we did stop to did sound really good though; it was mostly old people; they own monday morning blues band. My legs were so tired by the end of the day, makes me wonder how I survived walking in Venice so long. Heck, I was feeling great even at the end of the day still in Venice! Ah well that was the end of that night.
Sunday I spent the morning working on my ISU and we finished it up pretty fast. I wanted to go home, but nobody was home to drive me, so we watched Triple X on his wide screen tv, which was totally awesome. He had a huge sound system and the setup of the room was so nice. After the movie, still nobody was home! So we played around with Fruity Loops 3 for a while. Too our delight, we figured out how to make melodies! That kept us interested for like another hour when I decided that I should just take transit home, because there was STILL nobody home. Anyways, got home and played counterstrike for most of the evening because I was sick of doing work.
Today at school was pretty damn boring. To start off, I realized I forgot my name tag when I got to the school, so I had to walk all the way back home, and all the way back to to the school. I wasted about 40 minutes walking and I was late for class. It didn't really matter though, because we were just preparing for the presentations, which I thought me and my partner did pretty well on. Today was so boring though, because we pretty much listened to presentations ALL DAY! Ugh, I kept falling asleep but kicking myself to stay awake. Anyways, school is almost over! Unit test tommorow, small assignment, and the exam is on thursday. I'm almost done!
Quote of the day, from my teacher:
"You guys have been working pretty hard for the last few weeks, so I'm going to give you as little work as possible for the rest of the course."
What I don't understand is where was I during the working hard part?

Hey, I'm back. Didn't update my blog yesterday because I was pretty busy with work, and didn't have that much to talk about anyways.
Anyways, I'll start with yesterday! School was just the usual. Take a few notes, do some group stuff, work on projects...nothing new. Lunch was rather interesting...since we were planning to go out and play some soccer (we being my fobbies), I decided that it would be a good idea to get something to eat first, so I crammed down a slice of pizza and jumped into the game right away. Maybe I forgot to swallow something all the way, but after running the field once, I felt a really uncomfortable lump just under my chest. It's not like it was really really painful, but I think I could do without it. A lot of moisture, primarily spit and other thick stuff, began to build up in my mouth, so I bent over to spit. Just at this point the goalie at the opposite end launches the ball high into the air...now, I was more than halfway down the field at this point, so I couldn't possibly be in any danger...I could hear some guys around me say "Heads!", and when I looked up after spitting, all I get is a forehead full of ball. What is with balls hitting me in the forehead? Honestly, first Grace and the plastic baseball, now Carl with the soccer ball! There must be a bullseye there that I can't see or something.
Today I went to Niagara Falls for the class field trip. I pretty much slept on the bus ride there while listening to my MD, and my ears hurt like a bitch by the time we got there because my earphones are crappily designed. Anyways, we started out right by the falls, where me and my friend just strolled the perimeter once and came back to the waiting area. The falls were beautfiul today; apparently it had rained recently, so there was a lot more water, falling.
Next we went on the Maid of the Mist, which is that boat thing that goes in the mist really close to falls, hence the name. I was looking for a good spot near the front of the boat, and found one near a cute girl in my class. Anyways, the boat started moving, and I could already feel the precipitation on my blue garbage bag jacket. Nearing the giant mists, a huge gale sent a whole shower of water at me and I got completely soaked; I couldn't see, even with my shades shielding my eyes. That was a neat ride.
Afterwards, me and my friend, Andre, went for lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, where I ordered a tall roast beef sandwich. I hadn't really taken the tall into consideration, but when the food finally arrived, that sandwich was fricken stacked with roast beef! It was so delicious and juicy, but I couldn't finish it. Hell, I wasn't even close to finishing my whole lunch, but I couldn't do much about it. Payed, left. As part of the field trip, everybody had to fill out a "scavenger hunt" assignment. Some of the things weren't even there though! For one of them, we had to find the Mellow Yellow car at the Planet Hollywood restaurant and find the movie it was from and the actor who drove it. So we arrived there, and there were a couple vehicles, each one with a sign posted talking about that vehicle and the movie...every vehicle had a sign, except the one we needed information on...what a drag! There were a couple of other things on the list that were impossible to find, like the Three Stooges star on the Hard Rock Walk of Fame. Later on I realized that it would be impossible to find it because 1) the Three Stooges were not rock stars, and 2) the Three Stooges would look ridiculous performing rock. What a stupid assignment.
Later on we visited the botanical gardens. Some of the areas looked absolutely gorgeous; flowers lined up side by side creating a huge spectrum of colour around me. Quite enjoyable, plus I bought a lemonade slushy that was overpriced, just like everything else in Niagara Falls. The vineyard tour was next, and it was pretty short, which was good because I already know how wine is made. I was inspecting the details on a wine bottle very meticulously when one of my friends asked me what I was thinking about, and I started singing to the bottle "Baby you're all that I want, when you're lying here in my arms..etc" and everybody started laughing. The tour was pretty much over after the wine tour.
When I got home, I did my usual...play computer, idle, chat, doing whatever. I came upon an interesting situation in my kitchen though. While I was preparing my dinner (instant noodles, only the best), I noticed some movement around the sponges. I peered closer, and I realized that we had a slight ant infestation! Being all pissed off, I began swearing and cursing at the ants, saying how they were such a bother and all. So anyways, I got some ant bait and was about to dab some when I got a better idea! Grabbing my water gun and the ant bait, I dabbed some bait a few centimetres away from the ants, and when the ants tried to go for the bait, I'd spray them into the sink with my water gun! It was so much fun, haha. I only did this for a bit because my dinner was nearly done. I dabbed some ant bait and left them alone for a while. Came back later, there were even MORE ants! So I dabbed a little more bait and squirted some dish detergent in their path, which made them all confused...this was too much fun. I was kind of pissed off though. The ants were supposed to take some bait and bring it back to the queen and kill it, but I think the ants were getting greedy and consuming so much bait that they died themselves. Came back again later, and they were STILL there, so I decided just to do a full clean up job...mop mop mop, a minute later, at the gun it was me : 3275425 and ants : some sponges. I could've done a lot more things with the ants, but they were really starting to piss me off and I was getting tired.
So here's the IRC of the day:

Hmm, I haven't blogged for a few days. Been really preoccupied with work and kept forgetting to blog until it was too late at night or I was too tired. Even now I'm too tired to recall what has happened in the past few days because I went to sleep at around 3am this morning.
I went to Gwun's birthday dinner on Monday, which was the buffet formerly known as "Oriental Feast". Naturally, the food was alright, but not exquisite since it was a buffet. I did have a lot of fun though, especially when it came to pouring water for each other, which resulted in overflowing glasses and wet table sheets. Of course, there was no way we could stop there, considering how stupid we usually were, so we started pouring salt in each other's drinks! Whenever someone got up for another plate, we'd take the shaker and sprinkle salt into their drink; unfortunately, the ice wasn't dissolving because we didn't stir the mixture and it was really cold (which slowed down the chemical reaction!...sigh). Dinner had just begun though, for the music hadn't started yet! Dipping my finger into my water, I played the overture note along the rim of my glass which was followed by a symphony of eerie pitches as we all started playing along the rims of our glasses. My dinner of leaching other plates and other chaos came to an end as I choked up my share of the bill, but the night wasn't over.
Afterwards, we went to Lo's house to watch 2 Fast 2 Furious, which is an AWESOME movie. Okay, so the plot wasn't amazing, but man, the cars in that movie were absolutely SICK! Sigh...I would be perfectly content with any of those cars, and yes that dark purple convertable was totally amazing! I want a skyline so badly now.
Tuesday (yesterday), was pretty much a typical school day. A lot of funny and interesting things actually happen during class everyday, but I'm too bored or busy to pay attention to them and remember them. I ended up staying up until 3am this morning playing counterstrike and finally finishing my homework, which really only took 15 minutes to do.
Today I had some fun during lunch...I played soccer with big brown people! It's quite amusing how the bigger they are, the smarter they ain't, and I'm not saying this as a prejudice remark, but it's really the big brown guys that are the dumbest in my class, haha. Anyways, I played alright and had a lot of fun, especially laughing at how the bigger brown guys sucked (I think I better watch myself, hehe). The afternoon in class was absolutely brutal; we spent the WHOLE afternoon colouring maps and writing definitions, what a fricking drag! My back was aching so much by the end of the day...from now on, I have to stretch before I participate in such a physically strenuous feat. In the end, I came home, played computer, started doing homework, and blogged.
I'll try to update more often. Here's the IRC of the day (very early this morning):
Wizordo: i have word part opened
leet_sauce: i said that for your own good =/
Xalier: its 2am and kens not doing work

Yay, I did work today. I had my driving lesson today, and it got a little rough as I nearly hit pedestrians at almost every intersection, so some advice from my behalf: don't be a pedestrian when I'm on the road, because I can see other cars fine, but I never look at the sidewalk! Also, if you drive a car, don't park on the side of the road, because I almost knocked out the side view mirrors today, twice. After my driving lesson, I spent the rest of the day working on my projects. How exciting, eh? I never knew Rome and Vancouver could be so boring to research about, but at least I got it finished. It kinda sucks that I finished it but have no colour ink in my printer, so that leaves me in a bit of a jam. Ah whatever, if I can't find someone with a colour printer soon, I'll just print it out with crappy black ink. My day's been pretty boring, so I'll jump to the IRC of the day:

Ick! Today was pretty boring, and I didn't get any work done...not like I intended to anyways. Morning was alright; went to Adam's house and chilled there for a few hours. Watched a movie called John Q, and it was pretty good for the most part. The only thing I could complain about was that some parts seemed very unrealistic, like the fact that people didn't try harder to stop John at the earlier segments of the hostage situation. Oh well. Played a few games of pool, where I once again discovered my unique inability to hit the ball straight or in the direction I wanted it to go. The one game of snooker was mildly pathetic...we were down to the pink and black ball, but the score was only 2-0 for Adam because we kept losing points from penalties like scratches and mis-sinks. It was all fun though, that was pretty much the bulk of the good part of today.
The rest of the day I pretty much played computer and watched tv. We had a scrimmage in counterstrike during the afternoon, and got our butts totally ironed to the floor as we only won 2 rounds of the 24. I've been playing pretty badly overall today though, and I blame it all on my roger's cable, because it makes me lag so much! But I'm guessing the majority of the people who read this blog won't know what I'm talking about, so I won't go into specifics. Bah, today sucked, here's the IRC of the day:
Oh geez, I got one that would really kill mok's reputation...haha I better not post that...Here's a different one:

Ah, so the week finally comes to an end. The time has certainly flown by this week, and I guess that's a good and bad thing. Part of me is supremely happy because now I'm already half way through this "strenuous course" and I've barely moved a finger. However, I realize that I'm also losing two weeks of summer...time that I should be relaxing and starting my calculus work! I'm also sad that I'll soon be leaving my new friends (despite how different they are) that I've met in my class. Hitherto my progress so far, I sit at the top of the class with a 94 overall.
Most days I do nothing for the most part...today I did nothing for the whole part. Okay, so in the morning, we were doing a little bit of dry text book work, and the rest of the time was given to us to study for the unit test next period. The guy on my right was being a real ass because he took somebody else's seat, but I didn't say anything because he was a big brown guy. What was worse was he had his head on the desk and was making these stupid whale noises for some reason! Ugh, it was so annoying, but I just ignored him. Eventually the chinese guy got his seat back, and we started talking. Apparently the fobs sitting in my perimeter just found out that I understood chinese and that I could comprehend all their little conversations, hehe. The issue of me being a CBC was brought up, and it turns out the fob beside me was also a CBC...a Chinese born Chinese...at this point I had ellipsises rolling through my mind.
The unit test was alright I guess, wasn't too hard, but I could've done better if I studied more (naturally). Basically, I heard there were a lot of fails and a lot of really bad marks, and I only know of one person who got a higher mark than myself, and he did much better actually, haha. I ended up with 63.5/75 which is like 85%...which I could accept, it wasn't terrible. I pretty much lost all my marks on my multiple choice and nearly aced the short answer section. The second half of the day started with a movie: National Lampoon's European Vacation. It was a comedy, and it was pretty good overall. There were some things in the movie that the teacher did forget to mention though...the movie was a typical comedy that a family could enjoy, with a little spice to it...pornography! Yeah, some parts were really revealing, and with all the intention! Now my teacher said the movie was good, but she never mentioned that it was THIS good. At this point I was really enjoying the movie, and laughed a lot because there was some swearing in it too. Some parts were pretty retarded, but I enjoyed the movie because it was a lot better than starting the next unit. The last part of the day wasn't very productive either. We started out by playing pictionary, and then took up the tests. It's funny how some people STILL can't do that stupid addition question! I swear those people have some kind of comprehension disability because it just doesn't get any easier than that.
Ugh, I'm getting tired, so I'm just going to end my blog now...even though I have like a tonne more to talk about. Here's the IRC of the day:

Why is it the days she says we'll be doing nothing that we have a tonne of work, and the times she says we have a lot of work, I've got nothing to do? Yesterday, my teacher told us that we'd be doing very little learning today and that it would mostly be review and working on projects. I spent almost my whole morning doing dry textbook work, and my hand started to ache a bit. No matter, I guess it's better than sitting around as usual. Lunch is so boring...I took another walk up the street and back, and that was pretty much my whole lunch half hour. Hrmm...I'm having a hard time remembering what I did today...
Oooh, I got my two quizzes back. I got 5.5/8 on the second one, purely because I made ONE calculation error, which totally screwed me into 2.5 marks, bah. See, if Ms. Webber was marking this test, I woulda gotten 7.5/8 because she would've accepted the fact that my final answer was still right according to that one mistake, but nooooo...I make one mistake, screws up the rest of my calculations down the line and completely ****s up my mark! Oh well, quiz out of 8, no biggie, sets my current lowest mark so far...that was until I saw the mark on the first quiz! 2.5/5, go me! I laughed at myself while I thought back about the way I said those people suck at addition and were morons, and here I was with a 50% on the exact same quiz. Skimmed through the paper, got up, showed it to the teacher, gave my half about the morons in the class who were complete numbskulls even when it came to marking, and got kicked my quiz to 90%, haha. Saved myself from a big 50% dip on a quiz out of 5!
I had won a prize in class a couple days ago, and I finally got it today...a blue adidas t-shirt! Yeah, it might sound like a really crappy prize, but I was happy, and it's pretty nice t-shirt too. I wouldn't have minded if the shirt was 1 size larger though, but oh well, it's still good. I've got a unit test tomorrow, and two projects due on monday...what a drag. I really should study, but I'd rather blog and play counterstrike...sad.

Man, school is so boring. We wrote the same quiz as yesterday, except there were only two questions on it and it only took half an hour...which really boggles me because the whole quiz is based on addition! I was done in about 5 minutes, everybody else in the class was still writing it 10 minutes later. Honestly, these people can't comprehend these word questions if their life depended on it. I got a good laugh while we were marking the first question because my teacher put a little trick at the end that fooled everybody, except me! But then I made the mistake on the second question which really screwed me over, leaving me with 6 out of 8 on the quiz...damnit, my lowest mark so far! Ah well, I'll make it up in some other project or whatever. Anyways, we went to the mall today as a field trip, and we had to visit a travel agency and get some information about a certain city. The idea was that we went there and gathered information for about 20 minutes, but we were in and out in about 5 minutes. We really only got the price of a plane ticket, but it's not like we needed that information anyways. After that it was pretty much lunch time, so I had my lunch with my brown homies in the mall and then went window shopping for Gwun's birthday present...in the end, I bought a bottle of Mello Yello, for myself. I suck at shopping.
The second half of the day was spent doing research in the library for the projects I was working on, one of them which I'm working on right now. Actually it's just open in word right now, while I update this blog and chat with people on IRC. I tried using one of those library computers, but it only had netscape, and it kept crashing on me...and I thought our school had bad computers, sheez. Spent about half an hour trying to solve it until I just moved to a different computer, where I did about 5 minutes of research. After that I wasted the rest of the day looking at stuff on the internet and reading blog entries. The ironic thing is, my teacher said that tomorrow we were going to be doing nothing but researching and review, and that kinda boggles me about what we were doing today.
Why school is so boring, I really don't know, but there are some good things about it. Like, err... I can't think of one right now. Anyways, here's the IRC of the day:

Okay, I have come to the conclusion that there is without a doubt a defined portion of my class that is mentally retarded. Like come on! It took almost an hour to do a stupid quiz that only had FOUR questions on it! And it's not like these were difficult S.I.N. logic-base questions, these were freaking ADDITION questions! My teacher had to cut back on photocopying because she'd been doing too much of that lately, so our questions were put in overhead, and they were done in cursive writing, which, in my opinion, was more than legible enough...unfortunately, I found out today that the brown people in my class canNOT read cursive writing off an overhead because they have bad eyesight and have problems paying attention in general! Argh, it's so annoying! And these people make some of the stupidest comments during the quiz too, like "Miss, people usually stay 7 days and 6 nights, so we should only calculate 6 nights in the week's thing, right?" NO! You freaking moron! There are 7 nights in a week, OKAY? EREGGHHH!
Aight, well anyways, we were planning to go to the mall as a small fieldtrip today. Unfortunately, there were some people in our class who were under 16 years of age, and technically they weren't allowed to cross 4-way intersections without a signed permission form! So now the trip got postponed to tomorrow, and we all have to get permission forms signed just to make a 5 minute walk to the mall. Our current principle is just so freaking tight, what a bitch, whoever it is.
In the end, I did go to the mall to meet up with a bunch of the guys. Tried shopping for Gwun's birthday present, but the best thing we could come up with was buying him an iguana and calling it "Gwan" or something stupid like that, haha. Also spent some time going around shops to look at posters. Fags, always ditching me when I'm not looking...ditched me at Best Buy just like you did at Chapters! Whatever. So in the end I'll be going to the mall 3 days in a row this week...tomorrow being the third.
Quote of the day (my teacher):
"Kenneth is absolutely KILLING this class!"
Thanks to my 94, placing me at the top, which is a pretty pathetic highest mark, but knowing my class...haha.
IRC of the day (shortened by Lo's request):

Also spent some time going around shops to look at posters. Fags, always ditching me when I'm not looking...ditched me at Best Buy just like you did at Chapters! Whatever. So in the end I'll be going to the mall 3 days in a row this week...tomorrow being the third.
Quote of the day (my teacher):
"Kenneth is absolutely KILLING this class!"
Thanks to my 94, placing me at the top, which is a pretty pathetic highest mark, but knowing my class...haha.
IRC of the day (shortened by Lo's request):

I used to complain that we did absolutely nothing during Geography class. Today, however, I've reached a new level of complete idlity(if that's even a word)! The morning started out pretty simple...had a question on the board and had to write a journal based on the question, no biggie, but it's still sitting unfinished in front of me right now. We had our short lesson on the multiplier effect, and then had some free time to prepare for our presentations. Before the first break even started, we had a school-wide CODE RED ALERT! I really didn't know what was going on, but the precedures were that we had to turn off the lights and vacate ourselves to the back of the classroom, sitting under desks. All teaching and learning (well, whatever fragments at least) came to a halt as we all just chilled on the floor for over an hour. Fortunately, I had my trusty MD player with me, so I was able to pass the time listening to it and chatting with the person beside me. So that wasn't very exciting, but it took us until 11:30, where they decided to let us off for lunch early, and they extended the lunch period to 45 minutes (yay!), which gave me enough time to walk home and eat instant noodles! After lunch we started doing some of the presentations, so there was no real work or learning going on here. We hadn't even finished all the presentations when my teacher suddenly decided that we should watch Finding Nemo! So we did that for the rest of the day, haha. I think there was about like 40 minutes of actual learning time in there, what a day.
Later I went to the mall for my dentist appointment. As usual, I fell asleep in the chair while they were poking the insides of my mouth with those sharp metal utensils. I don't know how I always fall asleep there, it's really noisy with the television on and the two suction things in my mouth, but oh well. There wasn't anything wrong with my teeth, just that I didn't floss enough, or rather, I didn't floss, haha. Then I headed down to Grand & Toy where I spent 15 dollars on two pens and a lead pencil. So expensive! But meh, it's not my money anyways. The rest of my night was pretty much typing up notes, playing counterstrike, and bitching about the lag that the stupid cable is giving me.
No quote of the day today. What the hell, people at summer school aren't funny, they are all fobs. So anyways, here's the IRC of the day:

Argh, I forgot to update yesterday! Okay, okay, I'll just have to try and remember every single detail of the last two days...despite how boring and pointless my life seems to be.
Let's see...My saturday morning was pretty normal...woke up, washed my face, and planted my ass in front of my computer. Went with parents for lunch and groceries, then got my haircut at the mall. Pretty exciting, eh? Yeah, my day was pretty boring until my driving lesson. It was kinda funny, since I absolutely suck at parallel parking, and my teacher said that he would take me on the highway that day if I could parallel park the car without him guiding. Well I tried once, and hit the curb. So I drove back into position again, and hit the stupid curb, again! I finally was able to pull off a clean parallel park on the third try, and although it wasn't perfect, I really couldn't care less. So we went down to the highway! It was a little intimidating at first, because I was coming off the ramp at 50 and all I see are all these cars on the highway almost literally flying down the cement path. This was the point where my teacher started yelling "The gas! The gas! No! What are you doing? Turn now! Turn now! Too much gas! You are going to break my car! That was pretty good for the first time." We got off after about 10 minutes and went back to regular road practice, where my bad driving habits were already beginning to show. My teacher threatened to put a needle or marker beside my head so that I wouldn't turn to look in my blind spot before checking the mirror. The car was running low on gas, so he made me fill up his car with some 87, while he went to the washroom. When he come out of the gas station store, he had this hugeass coke slushy, which I found rather amusing since he was like a 50-year old chinese man. Well we spent the last half hour driving to the destination of his next student and chatting about how bad women drivers were, haha. Anyways, I spent the rest of the day pretty much playing computer and working on my project that was due monday, which I didn't finish in the end.
Today (Sunday), started out very much like Saturday. I woke up, brushed my teeth, and planted my ass in front of my computer. Serena came over at around 9 because I was giving her a lift to Wonderland later, and she found it quite peculiar that I was on the computer so early, playing computer games! Haha, you don't know the half of it, Serena. So I showed her my awesome blue desktop setup $$, and she thought I was going a little crazy, but meh. So after visiting that website with the weird japanese monkey cartoon, we started to head off to Wonderland!
Well, we got there first, and stood around for a while before others started arriving. The first ride we went on was Dragon Flyer. This was the first time on this roller coaster for me, and I wasn't too thrilled about trying it either. For those who don't know yet, I absolutely hate going on rides because the first big drop always freaks me out. I forgot who I was sitting beside, but I was trembling in my seat and was really nervous, but somehow, I made it through! Plus, I couldn't really turn back after the bars were lowered anyways. Ugh, today was a long day, I can't really remember all the rides that we went on, but I do recall going on many of them...let's see, there was Dragon Flyer, Ghoster Coaster, Sledge Hammer, Shockwave, Vortex, Wild Beast, and I think Minebuster was the last one...only a 4 thrill factor my ass Gwun, haha.
Lunch was absolutely repulsive, and expensive! I payed 8 bucks for a basket of dry, tasteless fries with 5 tiny chicken fingers that came with barbeque sauce that tasted like vomit almost. I swear the chicken fingers in the picture were twice the size, what the hell...false advertisement! Oh well, I wouldn't be too keen on getting more of those flattened pieces of meat anyways. I didn't have a drink either! So I was so thirsty that I even drank from Ken C's water bottle that was Aberfoyle. Now everybody knows that Aberfoyle is the cheapest most repulsive water ever made, but I was pretty damn thirsty, and the water was warm! Ewww...oh well. So we went down to the vending machines where we found the bottled pops were $3.25! I was so pissed off, I was NOT going to spend that much on a bottle of pop, so I drank more water out of Gwun's Aberfoyle water bottle this time, and it was even warmer! *shudder* My stomach was starting to do some weird stuff on me at this point, and that's when we decided to go on Sledge Hammer, a nice turny ride that went up and down. Fun.
The day was a lot of fun, but I'd have to say the worst part was standing in line for so long. My feet and calves were aching like a bitch, and the sun was absolutely frying every part of my body. I think the longest was waiting in line for the Sponge Bob 3-D show, which took nearly an hour, almost all of it in direct sunlight. I was so glad when the doors finally opened for us to go in, with all the nice AC and all. The 3-D show was pretty cool, but the plot absolutely sucked and the video was really short. I wasn't too happy about waiting an hour for that, but oh well.
We stopped by in the arcades at some points, and there were these white guys playing DDR. I don't know what to say...wow. They were playing at like the highest difficulty, and one of them was getting a combo in the high 300's by the end of the round, and I was absolutely impressed. Hui wanted to play some DDR too, and there was some trouble trying to get the machine though since there were some small asian boys wanting to play too. I was a little confused, but they weren't that bad. There must be like this whole DDR society that I don't know about. I saw that same white guy playing DDR in another arcade later, and once again scoring high 300's combos. That guy is insane, haha.
Okay, I'm going to stop talking about the Wonderland trip here, otherwise I'll go on forever. So I eventually came home and finished like the whole school project in 10 minutes. Then I made some instant noodles for myself, with 5 strips of bacon, an egg, and hot chili sauce...mmmmm! After that I came back and started blogging, for like almost an hour, excluding the short period of counterstrike in between. Okay, my parents will kill me if I don't sleep soon, so I'm going to leave out the quote of the day and IRC of the day this time, despite the number of things said today, hehe. That's all for now!

Hey, summer school was pretty good today. I think it's fair to say that it's getting a little better, and the topics are getting more interesting. First thing today was the unit test, which I managed to screw up. 88.4% on a geography test?! I lost marks off the hard part though; we had to name countries and capitals in the Carribean, and label specific towns in Florida, and that's where I lost the bulk of my marks. That's alright though, I've been acing everything else, except the glossary which I got 90% on, bleh. I can't believe I got the bonus question wrong though! I KNEW that it was a Disney movie, but I put down the wrong one...Lilo & Stitch, what the hell was I thinking. I did manage to win a prize in class today! We were having a contest to see who could name the most jobs directly related to Travel and Tourism in 10 minutes, and my group got the most at 38 jobs...the next closest was 33, then 24, etc...so basically my group schooled everybody else. I don't know what my prize is, but I'll find out on Monday. Remember I mentioned something about seeing a really cute girl at school yesterday? Turns out to be the same girl I like at MDHS, except she got a haircut! How ironic.
Didn't do much else today. Went to piano lessons, came home, and chatted with people. I'm bored, so I'm going to write a poem...about...my computer mouse, right now.
Mouse
You reside inside my house
Optical, without a ball
You rise above them all
Resting on carpet of red
Covering sponge as black as lead
Glamour you certainly don't lack
For red light shoots out your back
The purpose of that I don't know
Yet my dependence of you continues to grow
For you put the crosshair on those who should die
While you witness my death from those passing by
But I do not care about the rest
For I'll always know that you are the best!
ok that was a really bad poem, but I just rhymed with the first thing that came to mind, so whatever. There's no quote of the day cause I forgot what the funny thing I had in mind was.

Blah, another day of summer school. I find during regular school, people often complain about the national anthem in the morning, whether it was sung bad, or it was too long, or it was just a bad arrangement. I don't think ANY of you can complain after the pain I have gone through these past few mornings. Maybe the school is underfunded, or perhaps everybody in the school has really bad hearing, but oh MAN it is frickin' PAINFUL to listen to that guy sing Oh Canada. It sounds like a recording of a student with a piano accompaniment, except the guy must be being tortured while he's singing, because it is really torturing me. He's boring, dull, expressionless, and ...OUT OF TUNE!!!! That school REALLY needs to get some decent singers. The rest of the school day was pretty boring, but at least I've got some real work to do now. My final summative was given to me today and the assignment is pretty much me being a tour guide of some place that nobody gives a damn about. Spent half of the school day in the library doing "research" because I was done my research in about half an hour and sat there listening to my MD's for the rest of the time. Pretty dull day...however, I did pass by a really cute girl today! So what's new.
Quote of the day (my teacher, Ms. Parkash):
"What? I missed that. Remember, I only have 66% hearing in this ear, and I forgot to wear my bra, I mean, hea-hea-hearing aid! What the heck did I just say?"
IRC of the day:

Yeah, today's post kinda sucks, but it was just really boring overall. Sorry. I'll try to post something better tomorrow. That's all for now.

I swear, this geography course is such a waste of time. What we learn in a day could be taught in more or less an hour. I think I spent almost two hours just in a state of complete idleness because I had nothing to do. The people in my class are so retarded too! I mean, there is like so little work as it is, and it's all so easy, just copying stuff straight out of the atlas. I don't know why they complain that it's so much work! So today was disgustingly boring, but at least I spent my lunch time chilling with Zara rather than walking off in some random direction again. I don't understand why, but when I'm in that classroom, time goes through a no-passing zone and the boredom begins to gnaw at me. Then my thoughts begin to wander far off until I stop thinking and realize that what I was just thinking was totally ridiculous and in some cases, preposturous. It gets even worse when I have Utada Hikaru songs stuck in my head, and I don't even understand Japanese, so it's really just humming the tune along in my head, with some of the familiar words here and there. Solution? I have got to do some MD recording tonight or I will go absolutely insane tomorrow!
The rest of my day has pretty much been playing computer games and chatting with people...I'm gonna try adding a quote of the day and IRC of the day too from now on.
Quote from Kemmy: "Should I dress as a guy or a girl tomorrow? And if a guy, what kind of guy? Like an old man, or school boy?"

Okay, so today was another boring day at summer school. Once again, we didn't do much work, and when did get actual work it didn't require much thinking. In fact, we sat there with atlases and labeled specific locations on like 10 different maps she gave us. Not a big deal, I didn't finish them today, but we got lots of time to finish them before they're due.
I was so bored this morning that all I could think about was what the hell I was going to do about lunch. I finally decided that I would just walk down to Hasty's, grab a snack, and walk back to school, hoping that would absorb half an hour, even though it was just across the street. It took 5 minutes, and we were let early out of class anyways so I still had the full half hour to expire still. So I bought a 7up and started walking. I just kept on walking up Raymerville, enjoying the sunshine and the warmth. When there was 15 minutes left, I just walked back. Well, that was a lunch well wasted! I wonder what I'll do tomorrow...
I had thought that Americans were pretty dumb as to where they thought Canada was...then someone out-did the Americans...out-did them by A LOT! Some girl who sat beside me in class just found out today that Canada was NOT below USA! Now how's THAT for passing grade 9 geography? Yeah, she wasn't too bright anyways though, meh.
We have to wear stupid name tags around the school. Bad enough that they force us to walk around with it, but they also made us pay 5 dollars for it too! Ugh, stupid non-refundable tag...summer school is so crappy this year! Anyways, that's all for now.

Summer school has finally come, and today I attended my first class of Grade 11 Geography:Travel & Tourism! Well, to put it in a general overview, it was pretty boring...but what can I do. Let's see, I'm taking a course that I already don't enjoy, and I'm not taking it with any of my friends. Hell, there's barely anybody at the school that I even know.
I'll start off with the school. I felt kinda odd when I walked in; the first thing I noticed was a lot of Chinese people and a lot of brown people. Knowing, this would be a long month despite my efforts, I decided just to grudge onto the course lists and find my room. Off I went searching for room 212. I didn't know that this school had three floors to it, so before I knew it, I was seeing rooms 300-318 down the hall. Eventually I found my way to the second floor where I found my room, buried in an empty hall in the middle of nowhere, and the room was locked and dark inside. Finally the teacher came around 5 minutes prior to the bell.
The first thing I noticed when I entered was the colours in the room. They fell under three gradients: white, rose, and beige wood. Naturally, the desktops, cabinets, and drawers were beige wood in appearance. The floor carpeting, the chairs, the air-conditioner, and even the panel that contained the clock and PA system were all rose in appearance, which was actually a little depressing and scary. As for the walls, ceiling, and markerboard, they were all left to the last colour (or shade rather), white. Note how I said markerboard, for our classroom didn't have a chalkboard. You'd think that a school that could afford to make everything look rosy pink could put a chalkboard in the classroom, but no, they had a plain white markerboard...and of course, the school had no markers, so we couldn't use the markerboard. The photocopier wasn't on that morning either, so we didn't have any real handouts other than the regulatory rules and safety booklets. Thus, we spent the first period learning each other's names, and some things about ourselves. The teacher immediately memorized my name when I mentioned that I got drunk at 13, and now she thinks I'm a trouble-maker, but oh well...maybe I am. After the name game, we learned the military alphabet! Let's see if I can get it all right now...Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Juliet, Kilo, Lima, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform, Victor, Whiskey, X-ray, Yankee, and Zulu...sweet, I didn't even have to look back at my notes, looks like I'm set for tomorrow's quiz! Next we learned each other's names again, but this time spelling each other's names with the military alphabet. Fun, eh? In total, we basically learned each other's names and wrote one sentence about travel for the whole period.
Anyways, the next thing I noticed about my class was the kind of people in it. They generally fell under two categories: chinese girls and brown people. I was the only chinese guy in there, and there was one white girl, other than that, the rest fell under those two categories. I found that rather comical, and laughed at myself for taking summer school, and I realized that the whole school was pretty much composed of chinese people and brown people. Word.
The second period was a little more interesting. We got into groups and made up skits incorporating the sentences that we made earlier. Despite how stupid the skits were (ugh, they were REALLY bad), lunch eventually came, and I needed to purchase my lunch at the cafeteria, that I think was closed. I wasn't really sure, but it didn't really matter because I couldn't really find anywhere to sit, or any entrance that wasn't completely clogged with chinese people and brown people. Fortunately, I bumped into Michael Chow, who was kind enough to drive me, Maggie, and some other girl to McDonald's where I purchased my lunch hastily and then we speeded back to M.S.S otherwise we'd be late. I had to eat my lunch in the car, since the half hour lunch didn't give one much time to digest.
The third period was alright. The photocopier was finally working, and we got handouts that we went through together for a whole period. It was only two pages, but the teacher kept on going with her stories of travel experiences, and those were pretty interesting. The fourth period was beginning to drag a bit when we were given maps and took up the names of some places together. Then we watched a video about Canada. I wouldn't say it was a boring video, but I almost fell asleep at this point.
My teacher (Ms. Parkash, I think) had mentioned that she was trying to get a field trip planned for us! Now after half a day of dry nothingness, this news was really exciting. The trip actually sounds good though: a touring field trip at Niagara Falls! Thinking about it, we would be missing a full day of school (maybe even two) which measures between 1 1/2 weeks to 3 weeks of school! I really hope the field trip gets approved, because it would be totally awesome to go on the fairie that swims under the mist of the falls!
Hometime finally came, and I wasn't completely exhausted when I got back, but it did feel like a really long day. Perhaps the next few days will be better. I can only hope...well, that's all for now!

AHHH!! I hate this stupid fricking computer! Just yesterday there was a small thunderstorm, and all I hear is *CRACK* outside, the lights in my room do this wierd flash and dimming sequence and the power supply in my computer gets fried AGAIN! Stupid natural occurences! Cost me another 60 bucks to get a check up and replacement!
Went to Ken Cheung's house yesterday, just another day with the guys. As usual, we went to the park and spent some time tossing the ol' discus around, and as usual, something weird had to happen. I guess it wasn't too weird, but there was this swarm of flies and/or miscellaneous winged cretins that were patroling the field, and with the buzz about all the West Nile crap, we weren't too fond of these bugs. I was the first to notice them, so I began to move towards someone else and got the bugs to stop following me and rather swarm around someone else =P. The funniest was when they were chasing Lo and it looked like he was running away from some invisible monster! Haha, good ol' Lo. We had barbeque for dinner, and it was pretty damn good, but way too much to eat! It started out okay, with the tasty chicken wings, but then came the beef, then the hamburgers, then the beef balls, then the fish balls, then the pork chops, then the watermelon, then more other miscellaneous stuff that I already mentioned! Now, to be honest, I felt completely stuffed by the time I was halfway through my hamburger, and that wasn't even halfway through the 8 course meal. It was great though; the only item that wasn't a meat product was the bread on the hamburger! Mmmm...meat... Saw the movie Van Wilder while I was over there; that was one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen, but friggin hilarious! I'm not going to talk about any of the specific parts of the movie that were funny, because there are too many and each of them is just too inappropriate to be put on this blog, but I must say, Tara Reid is soooooo hot! Yep.
Aight, that's all for now.

Finally! My computer is back up and running! Stupid power source got blown after the fan stopped working...oh well, at least it was easy to fix and replace. It's a good thing I got it done today...I was planning on pulling a 10 hour Zelda marathon, or finishing it three times through rather. I've been watching endless hours of tv because my computer was down, and reached a new level of absolute boredom. I was getting tired of listening to the food tv chefs talk about their food, so I muted the tv and just watched what they were doing with japanese music in the background instead. At one point, I got so bored that I even picked up a book! That's right, I read a whole chapter of "Star Scroll", and I'll probably finish the book by the end of this year.
I went to see "28 Days" a couple days ago. I don't understand what those people in those commercials were screaming about. I mean, honestly, that movie was not scary AT ALL! True, there were a lot of disgusting a gruesome scenes, but there was nothing in the movie that was even remotely frightening. Thing is, the storyline wasn't meant to have any actual suprises since they kind of tell everything that's going to happen ahead of time. And the idea behind the disease wasn't too frightening either. So what, they bite each other and they grow rageous! Big deal. I guess the movie was okay, but it is way overrated in terms of it's scariness. I will probably be laughing at the stupidity if I ever see that movie again, because now that I think about it, it was a pretty funny movie!
Yesterday, I went to see the fireworks at Milne Park for Canada Day. Spent around 5 hours just chilling around the same area in front of the show site, just sitting around, and throwing a frisbee and football around. It was lots of fun, and it was a really nice day, except it was soooo hot! We had an interesting time trying to play keep-ups with a soccerball, where we were barely able to get more than 14 with everybody getting contact with the ball at least once...yeah, we suck at that, but it was fun, and I pulled my left leg muscle. The food there was outrageously overpriced! I payed three dollars for an M&M's hamburger that was approximately the size of my fist including the bun. We didn't really have cold drinks either, so the heat was really hard to bear at some points. Serena's belated birthday present from Jason was rather interesting; for some reason, the toy wouldn't inflate into a circular shape and stayed in a shape that looked almost like a frog because it had two stubs on the outside that prevented the toy from rolling a whole 360 degrees...now how is that fun? Sheez. Anyways, we waited for about 5 hours (well, 4 hours for me since I was late) for the fireworks to arrive, and they finally did at 10:00pm. It was pretty nice since I didn't see fireworks often, but not the most impressive show ever. I guess for most people that do see fireworks often at these events would've expected more from it, but I was satisfied. Twenty minutes later, we were on our way out of the smoky hotdog-smelling site where we all got our rides and went home.
More things probably happened since I last updated, but I've a short memory, so that's all for now!
