Whooo been a while since I blogged.
Anyways.
(---- Looking back ---)
Thanks to everybody who got me gifts! I loved all of them. I think I'm not supposed to choose favourites, but...I honestly have to say, Serena's gift was the best! I love the picture frame and the firetruck that I'm probably playing with as you're reading this.
Well, Serena's gift WAS the best, until I opened up Sean's gift, which, well...you know me too well man! INSTANT NOODLES!!! And of course, a totally awesome wizard statue thing that sits atop my desk now. Instant noodles must be like the best food in the world, but you know what, the Chinese instant noodles I have at home already still own those gwai lo noodles you gave me Sean =D. Hehe
Let's see...
Been a bitch trying to see what everybody's bringing to the New Years thing at my place. People can't decide what they want to bring! It's not that hard! Sheez.
Got my PS2 today. It owns. Now to something more interesting...
Sooo...
I had desktop wallpapers for a while that contained either Rikku or Yuna from FFX because they're like totally cute, even for anime characters. After playing a bit of FFX2 on my new PS2 ^_^, it has become my favourite RPG ever because Rikku and Yuna are so cool! There's this one guy in the game that has the hots for Yuna and goes crazy all the time, haha. It's really cool how the main characters can change their clothing style, and they look even more awesome in different suits and stuff. So cool, haha. I love FFX2.
I took a trip with Sean and some of my family to Pacific Mall today to pick up my PS2 and get Sean's modded. After walking around with Sean a bit, it suddenly became evident why I liked walking around there so much. Do you notice whenever you walk through Markville mall, you can't really find too many hot girls? I mean, you might find 1 or 2, 3 if you're really lucky, and they usually aren't like super cute anyways. Pacific Mall, au contraire, has so many hot asian girls, it's great! Just today, I must've been able to point a different one out every 2 or 3 minutes without breaking a sweat. Another thing I noticed was that most of the hot girls wore hats too. Not like ordinary hats (well, some of them did), but like those nice beret-sort of hats that look so cool! Strange. Pacific Mall is awesome!
Yep, lol.
Aight, that's all for now!

Glow-in-the-dark miniature golf was so much fun, especially since we were like the only people there! It was awesome, despite the fact that we suck at putting. We went out to play mini golf with the intention that it would occupy us for the greater portion of the night...it lasted about, err, half an hour...at most! We still ended up wasting an hour there because when we finished, we saw Andrew Mok, Mackendric, Kavanaw, Jess Cheung, and some other girl just starting up, so we took the liberty to bother them for a while. That place is so cool, everything is so glowy and the ceiling has black lights hanging all over the place. I ended up tying with sean at 48 strokes, and I don't know how the other group did.
I got a little lost going to Putting Edge, AND leaving. The going there wasn't so bad, I just passed right by it because I wasn't exactly certain where it was; all I knew was that it was on Yonge, between 16th and Major Mac, and near that other street that started with an M. It wasn't entirely my fault either, the place wasn't very visible!
The going back was a little dumber. I was supposed to just go south on Yonge a bit and then turn East on 16th. As a result, when I got on Yonge, I had this strange idea that I was already on 16th, so I just kept on driving down, not minding the roads I was passing, or the fact that I was in this strange city area, not like I realized it yet anyways. So, I just kept on driving, cursing at just about every other car for the ridiculously slow driving (holy fuck people drive really fucking slow sometimes!), and then we passed by Smiling Jacks, which is like the bar-restaurant thing. It's a good thing I recognized the place, because I realized we were really near my brother's girlfriend's house. I thought for a moment...
Brain: "Hey, we're pretty near Bernice's house."
Brain: "Yeah, uhh..."
Brain: "Yeah, I don't remember passing by here before either."
Brain: "Isn't this kind of far?"
*Eyes look at street sign.
Brain: "Finch, great."
Brain: "Hey, Finch is pretty far south, isn't it?"
Brain: "Yep, I think you forgot to turn somewhere, like, umm, 16th."
Brain: "Fuck!"
Me: "Uhh, guys...I think I forgot to turn on 16th."
Lo and Ken: "Oh my god..."
*U-Turn in the middle of Yonge street!
Pretty bad, I know. I blame Ken and Lo for not telling me sooner. So we eventually met up at Tim Horton's where Terence gave me a pretty generous discount on the food (thanks Terence!). Then we rented Coyote Ugly, watched it at Lo's house, then finally got home at about quarter to 1am. What a night!
Today's Christmas Eve! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!! =)
Whee!

Happy birthday to Chris and Ken C!
Even though your birthdays have passed already, but I already gave y'all your shares of birthday beats! Haha Chris, random punches in the arm during band, that kept me awake...
The birthday party was so much fun. I think I played DDR for about 3 to 4 hours straight, and I probably would've kept going if people didn't want to use the PS2 as well, lol. No surprise that I like that game so much, it's not like I don't play the flash version at home (yeah, I guess I'm kinda a loser in that way, haha). Mahjong was fun; I won a couple moderate hands, it was quite enjoyable while it lasted.
Ken Cheung's dad kept trying to give me food when I was doing stuff, mostly while I was trying to play video games, haha. I guess it's a good thing, he did spend quite a bit of money on the food. Kudos to the dinner, I can just imagine the amount of cash spent on all that greasy but delicious pizza, KFC, and chinese food!
Freaky Friday is an okay movie, but some of the plot was overdone since in reality even if two people did change places (to say...), they wouldn't act that retarded and retentive anyways. On the bright side, the rock band that played the music was awesome; the song at the end was great.
Ah, t'was a fun night, thanks to Ken Cheung for hosting it.

Wheee, shopping!
Yeah, I went shopping at Pacific mall, and finally bought my Kris Kringle gift, even those I was supposed to have brought it to school today already...oh well, nobody told me! It was fun though, we decided that we'd stay there and eat at the food court for dinner, so we needed a pay phone to call home to tell our parents we'd not be eating home. Pacific mall is performing some kind of psychological warfare on people, because their signs are slightly misleading. We came to one corner of the mall where we saw a sign that indicated there was a pay phone, but as we approached a wall lined with statues and the women's bathroom, we realized that there wasn't a phone there! So we looked back at the sign, and there it was, faintly, an arrow pointing to the other corner, so we went to the other corner of the mall...just to find another sign, saying the phone was back at the other corner! Stupid pmall.
So we had dinner at some vietnamese place where we ate and watched a movie about some guy who's never won in his whole life, so he went to a casino and bet that he would never win. Great movie, lol.
Anyways, I went to Markville Mall afterwards. That place has too many speed bumps...speed bumps from the stupid caving ceiling for the underground! It's so annoying. I bought something at wal-mart, buck-or-two, and the body shop.
Okay, now let's go back. I shopped at 4 seperate stores, and bought dinner...with 15 dollars. When I got home, I had 75 cents left in my wallet! Awesome.
Also, when I got home, I realized that I forgot to buy santa hats! So after my shower, I had to race back to Markville to buy some hats. I almost bought the ones at Claire's which were QUITE expensive. I looked at the price tag and read "8.39", and I'm like "holy shit!". So then I looked again and saw that that was the US price, and then I saw "Can 11.89", and then I was like "HOLY SHIT!", so I decided to browse over to Wal-Mart, where I eventually found some for a dollar in the very corner of the store. Stupid Buck-or-Two didn't have any hats that fit, what a stupid store.
Yeah, I could rant on a lot more about how my gift wrapping afterwards was absolutely brutal, but I won't.
Aight, that's all for now.

So me and Stacy were sitting in English class today, evidently bored, talking about English last year. Then I came across the winter poem I wrote last year, the one I wrote in like 10 minutes, in-class! It was one of the most ridiculous poems I've ever written, but Stacy was still impressed...impressed so much that she wanted me to write a poem, for her, about her. So I did, and it took me about 5 minutes.
"I Like Limes, They Are Tasty"
By: Kenneth Liu
Stacy
Is like a flea
She won't leave me be
So incessantly
But why
Can I not defy
Although I try
Just to get by
Her eyes
With tears she cries
From all the guys
And their alibis
But soon
She will resume
And further bloom
Like a balloon! (??!?)
Since time
Can sort of rhyme
And here's a mime!
Holding a lime
Which makes him sour
More by the hour
He loses power
So now he'll cower
But unlike him
There's Stacy Shim
Taking Ultra Slim
Attracting him
And yet
The time is set
Time to forget
Without regret
'Tis Stacy
Forever she
Undeniably
My girl to see
She posted the poem on her blog too, go visit it. NOW!!! =)

Ooooh my eyes sting and my right hand aches like a bitch! 3 major tests and an AP Calc quiz, all on the same day. Like geez, what are the chances that all this crap happens on the same day? Sigh...
My day started out with my algebra geometry test in first period, which wasn't so bad I guess. It was mostly just physics crap that I understood for the most part...but then again, I don't take physics anymore, so I probably failed! Nah, it wasn't so tough, I got through most of it except that one part with the stupid theta inside those stupid vectors and the stupid question completely threw me off! Bugger.
The next evaluation came during calculus after lunch. I guess it really IS that important to keep up with the homework, because there were only two questions on the quiz, and I differentiated wrong! My answer was all screwed up in the end, but hopefully I'll salvage a tonne of marks through format and showing all my other work. I'm pretty sure my format is correct, but then again, I suck at calc, so I probably failed it. I HATE CIRCLE QUESTIONS!!!
The biggest concern of them all was the English test that I also didn't study or prepare for in any way whatsoever. To be honest, I think I did amazing on that test; it's like the first time ever on an English test where I've felt so confidant with my answers. And the best part is, if I do really good on this test, it's going to boost my overall so much because I've been getting around 43% overall on prose thus far! Sigh...at least I'm enjoying prose, it's not like I'm hating it and doing bad in it.
Then I did the data test after school. It was easy. 'Nuff said. Actually, there was this one question that was really pissing me off, something about a lot of beads on a stupid necklace without a stupid clasp. Honestly, who cares? Haha. Anyways, I actually got up and walked around, discussing the problem out loud to figure it out, but I still couldn't get it, so I jotted down some gibberish and handed it in. Whatever.
After that, Grace came over to study some data stuff. I don't think she likes the way I drive because she was starting to get a little sick from the hard breaking and quick accelerations (sorry, that's just generally how I drive). At least she got her G2 today (yay, Grace!). Yeah anyways, that was an interesting study session, as after about 2 hours it turned to a glow string lesson, then to an IRC spam session, where the guys probably still don't believe that I wasn't talking to myself again.
Sigh, what a day...and tommorow is the 5k run! Oh man, I'm not going to have ANY energy for that, totally screwed!
Aight, that's all for now.

I CAN'T SHOP!!! At least not alone. Some places are just impossible to shop in by myself! I tried going to Markville last night to pick up some gifts, and I was able to browse the whole mall in 15 minutes. For one person, I have no clue on Earth what to buy, and the other person I was to0 afraid to go into the store! I wanted to go into Claire's to buy some stuff, but that store is just so..so...Pink! It's almost scary how pink that store is! Like, I've gone into girly stores before, but I just couldn't do this one alone...so I didn't end up buying anything. And since I had to go to Ken's in like half an hour and I hadn't eaten dinner yet, I sat at McDonald's and ate by myself (sigh).
Being the typical Friday night, I think the plan was that we were going to watch another chick flick. Why is it that the grade 12 giftee guys like to watch chick flicks so much? I don't know, and it's kind of strange, but chick flicks are good, so I don't mind at all hehe. However, we had already been watching too many lately anyways, so we started playing DDR! Watching us playing DDR is easily a hundred times more entertaining than watching GOOD people play DDR. The situation was just weird...6 guys, in the basement, playing DDR...but so much fun haha. So now we have another pass-time for friday nights. Awesome!
Anyways, I'll be going shopping at STC soon, hopefully I'll actually buy something this time.
Aight, that's all for now.

Okay. All I have to say is that the grade 12's OWN the grade 11's in band! Hoooooly crap, that was easily the best band practice I have EVER had! It was actually a lot of fun because we were learning new and hard pieces of music, and we were able to read through all of them, and it sounded amazing when we were playing through it for the first time ever!
Ever felt that celestial sensation when your whole section is in tune? Like really really in tune? I reckon you probably haven't, because this is honestly the first time I've ever experienced it. We've still got a good number of alto's in our section, and the feeling was amazing when we were all up in the high registers, and all in tune! I could almost feel an aura of resonance coming from our section...no over playing, no out-of-tune-ness, no tone-deaf-ness, amazing!
I don't know about the grade 11's now, but the Wind Symphony totally owns now. Band is FUN!
Aight, that's all for now!

I took a little trip to the mall today to get a haircut, but it turned out to be more than I expected. It actually wasn't very great, but I thought it was kind of fun.
So anyways, I was walking towards the mall entrance when some other girl pushing a shopping cart full of stuff was coming towards the same entrance. I figured if I walked faster to the entrance, then I could ignore them and wouldn't have to worry about holding the door for whoever it was (I didn't actually see the person yet at this point). When I got to the door, I hear a crash on the ground as a large carton of water fell off her shopping cart. I turned around and saw this really cute girl trying to pick up the large carton of water, so being the gentleman that I am (*cough*), I decided to help her out! Consequently, I helped her with her stuff and held the door open for her, twice. She had a really sweet voice and a cute complexture, so why didn't I ask for her name? Because it's hopeless, and I was already at the haircut salon.
After my haircut, I decided to do some quick Christmas shopping before heading home. I travelled down to Animal House, and I stumbled upon a new fact: girls don't shop at animal house, guys shop at animal house for girls! There were like 4 other teen-aged guys browsing around, which I found rather hilarious. So I picked up an item and went to the cash register. Whoop, another cute girl! She looked like she was in her early to mid 20's, but still quite pretty. In fact, I told her that she was pretty, and she gave me a discount! Well, it was only like 40 cents because I didn't have change and didn't want to break another bill, but she said that I wouldn't need to worry about it, haha. That's two cute girls in one night, and nobody was around in my glory! ><
Haha oh well, I got my haircut, that's all the matters.
Aight, that's all for now.

Yep...I was right...Blogger FUCKED UP MY TEMPLATE! Oh well. I kinda wanted to use a different template anyways because I think the template I was using before was kinda screwed up and couldn't do a lot of things. So now I'm using a new template and I have to learn what the hell they're doing in the big messy block of coding.
Ah hah, but I was prepared for this! When I was able to log onto blogger, I already saw how they fucked up my template coding, but it wouldn't change my actual blog until I published it! Being ahead of the game like I usually am (uhh...right!), I copied down all the addresses to all the links that I had on my page, so I at least salvaged SOMETHING. So it's not all at a loss, right? Maybe now blogger will listen to me when I tell it to do something!

Hmmm...blogger is kinda screwed up right now...I'm actually afraid to post again because my template code looks all messed up, so this is just to test if my code actually is messed.

If you haven't noticed yet, I decided to make my blog a little more colourful! Yep, I put avatars along the right side now so that it's nice and pretty! And I know how amazingly distracting it is because it looks like all the avatars along the side are changing out of sync. Oh well, I created them originally so that they all changed at the same rate, and I think they are, it's just the transitions in some of the pictures are greater than others, so it seems a little weird. Oh well!
Aight, that's all for now.

Soooo tired! First Christmas concert was today, and we totally brutalized it! Actually, it wasn't that bad; not as bad as usual at least.
I was there a little early, so I spent like an hour just chillin' with all the other band geeks who were there as early as me, if not earlier. It wasn't too bad waiting, since I actually spent most of the time playing and singing songs like Shake Ya Tail Feather and Wild Wild West with ReRe and Zuli. It's pretty amazing how many of the pathetic band songs I remembered from grade 9 and even elementary school, as I was rambling through pieces like S Club 7, and Backstreetboys, Eiffel 65, etc. I was also surprised at how many songs I could play simply using my mouthpiece, despite how squeaky and out of tune-y it is!
Then there was the actual performance. It wasn't bad...took like half a song to settle, but that's alright. I screwed up my solo, kinda, but oh well. What kinda surprised me was the standing ovation we received after we finished the stupid whale song. They were on their feet clapping like madmen and madwomen! I was like half-asleep, so I figure they were only clapping because they were glad the song was finally over. Ah, tomorrow will be another sitting.
I'm still wearing my band sweater...well, Mok's band sweater, since I lost mine after Europe. I'm eating some kind of microwave macaroni and cheese which oddly enough doesn't taste too bad. Anyways, I'm still sitting around thinking about who I'm going to buy Christmas presents for, and what I'm going to get them. Any $10-$20 suggestions?
