Oh the wonders you'll come across when reading the star online. By the way this is what I do at work nowadays -_-;

This has got to be too funny, lol.

Aight, that's all for now.

I don't find it so odd anymore. It seems like it happens every summer...the sort of nostalgiac feeling. Last summer it was a really big deal how everybody was splitting off into university, not seeing each other again until the next summer, likely not even to talk to each other until then, or possibly never to make any contact ever again for the rest of their existence. Once again, a summer has blown by, and pretty soon we're off onto our own little worlds.

I still have 5 days of work left, still counting down. When I first starting working here at Canada Life Assurance, I felt young and full of energy. Heading further into the summer I started feeling older, more tired, and more cynical. I guess that's what work does to people. As I'm moving into the final stretch, I'm starting to feel more exhilerated and young. It's almost over. I could make a real nostalgiac rant right now, but I'll save that for my last day of work. =)

As for the many things that I had planned to get accomplished this summer...learning cantonese/mandarin better, taking sax lessons, picking up more piano songs, working out, glowstringing, etc... I got none of them accomplished. As much of a disappointment to myself it is, it doesn't occur to be that much of a surprise. I do have one ultimatem to fulfill before the summer is over, I guess I'll see how that goes.

Aight, that's all for now.

7 days of work left!

I can almost finally end this incessant waking-up early shiddazzle.

Aight, that's all for now.

...as I stood in line with the other old people waiting to pay for my coffee...

Man, I feel so old.

9 more days of work!

Aight, that's all for now.

I think I lost weight again...my pants and belt seem a bit looser than usual...

Note: I need to start working out next term -_-; I'm sure that's the only way I'll gain some weight that isn't associated directly to my sides.

So despite the fact that I've never heard any Foo Fighters' songs before except their latest single, I actually really enjoyed the live concert last Saturday. Something should be said about how long it took to get the show on the road though. When we arrived there (late, according to the ticket), we were met by a really crappy band called the Constantines that, regardless of how cool they were trying to be, sounded really really bad. If anybody remembers that group of students at MDHS that were trying to be a rock band, it was kind of like that: just a lot of banging, lack of melody and flow, and just plain annoying. The Constantines were TERRIBLE. However, we did receive the priveledge of listening to the second group of openers: Sloan! Sloan was a hell of a lot better than the Constantines, but that's also because I already know that Sloan sounds good. It was nice change of pace especially with the fact that they could sing and their songs had actual melody and such. I found it pretty annoying that the Foo Fighters didn't actually start playing until 9:15 (the "concert" started at 6:30), since I was thinking that we might be leaving the place around 10:00 earlier. Not like it ended THAT late anyways. It was an awesome performance none the less! ^^

Aight, that's all for now.

13 days of work left! It's finally almost over! I can't believe I just worked away a whole summer. Usually I have summer camp or volunteering n stuff, but this year I actually worked away a whole summer in an office cubicle. It's actually kind of depressing...at least it wasn't exactly a stressful summer. The only stressful thing about it was that I actually had an obligation to wake up early every morning and be at work for 8 hours. I don't mind the work altogether, but the fact that I have to spend so many hours in here without much choice does get a little fatiguing. At least I don't really lose out if I skip class next term ^^... then again, it's not like they're paying me. A lot of other students I've met here finish this week or next week. I seem to be the only sucker that's here to the point where I can no longer be here (being the cruise, and then school right after). It makes me kind of mad that they're stopping work just because they don't want to work anymore. I think it's stupid...it's not like they should work all the way until they start going to school, but honestly, there's still another month until school starts and they're already calling it quits. Sad.

Things to look forward to: I think there's some birthday dinner on Friday, somewhere, at some time... *shrugs*. And...Foo Fighters concert on Saturday! Once again, somewhere, at some time. I'm so organized.

Aight, that's all for now.

Woooooo what a weekend! Let's see now...

Okay, so on Friday I didn't have to go to work because I was taking my G exam in the morning and there wasn't much point in going in for a half day. Fortunately, I did pass, which is a great relief not because I care that I have my G, but rather my parents aren't bugging the piss out of me about it now. That day, my instructor was taking 3 students (including me) out to do the exam at Morningside, so before I left the house as I was getting changed and all I came to thinking "Hmm, I've noticed that my instructor seems to have a lot of female students...most of them have been pretty cute...I wonder..." So riding my train of thought, I decided to dress a little better, put on a little Adidas and all. Nothing fancy. I love how I was so right.

Anyways, Saturday we decided to have a little drinking party at Sean's house. Now, just to make things clear, just because I was a little tipsy, and I was acting a little crazy, and I ended up throwing, does NOT mean I was drunk! That was a fun night though, for the most part. Lo made some tartar sauce for our fish and chips which actually turned out alright, surprisingly.

Not much happened on Sunday, pretty much played computer all day. Hilarious moment when playing WoW with Lo, Gwun, and Chris though. You won't understand this unless you play the game, but anyways, so we were running through Razorfen Kraul and got completely wiped out at some point in the middle.
From Lo's point of view:
"I saw Ken shooting at some guys, and then I heard a gun shot, and Chris was facing the other direction."
From my point of view:
*shoots guy*
Lo: "wtf chris"
*I turn around, Chris is trying to take on 2 guards*
*The whole place turns to mayhem as everybody goes crazy and suddenly I'm trying to take on 4 guys on my own, we all wipe*
From Gwun's point of view:
"Wtf happened, I was looking at my stuff"
"Chris isn't allowed to roll anymore"
From Chris' point of view:
":D"

Aight, that's all for now.

Sigh...

4 weeks of work left!! Then it's cruise time...then it's SCHOOL!! I can't wait to move in this year, it's going to be so much fun.

I think this is one of those places where I won't be nostalgiac about in a couple weeks. As much as I don't mind my job, I just don't like working. Rather, working is fine, I just don't like waking up early. Which is also why next year is going to kick ass, lol. Actually, I prefer my classes start earlier, so they end earlier, but I don't exactly have a choice this time. Oh well. I love how I went onto an entirely different tangent in a few sentences. Speaking of tangents, I don't have calculus or algebra ever again. Cool. However, no more free marks. =(

I feel like I'm getting madder at my parents everyday. There's just like something to add to the list every single day, and it's really pissing me off. It seems like I neglected all these things for so many years whilst I simply avoided them because I found them annoying. Now I know why I find them annoying, all the little things. They don't realize, and I don't have the heart to tell them. I just can't wait to move out, it will be bliss.

Deep thought of the day: Essence and perfection seem to lie at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Aight, that's all for now.
