Yay, literacy tests! Sleeping in, kinda, for two days straight! I guess it's not the sleeping in a care about so much than the fact the classes are shortened enough so that it goes by so quickly. I've gotten pretty lazy nowadays, spent a lot of time playing Megaman Zero 2 on my gameboy advanced emulator, lol.

Oooh, it's pretty late right now, and I need to take a break from my endless calc homework.
I just wasted a whole weekend again doing nothing mostly and playing computer games. It really doesn't help that I have like 4 assignments due within the next two weeks. I don't care. =)
Anyways, I need a good idea for a costume for halloween, so gimme some suggestions!

Hmm...What to blog about today...
First Suggestion:

I practiced piano today!
Lol, okay.
Well anyways, thanksgiving just past, and I didn't get any turkey! I guess it's not a huge loss, since I'm not a huge fan of turkey, and we did eat a different kind of bird: PIDGEON! The best meat in the world! Unfortunately, the pidgeon wasn't as good as I hoped because it was prepared like they do in the restaurants, which is like roasted and deep fried and stuff, while the ones I ate were just barbequed I think...=P. We also had lobsters during that dinner; each person had their own half of a lobster, and it was so juicy and tender and yummy ... (*drools*) Kinda reminds me of my luxurious dinners on the cruise, except without the fancy presentation, because the stuff I ate was pretty much just served plainly on one plate. Then again, PRESENTATION DOESN'T MATTER because it wasn't iron chef, which we were watching during dinner, haha.
I didn't do anything too interesting this weekend, I stayed up until 3 in the morning each night playing video games with my brother, and that's about it I think. Oh oh! I found my ISP books I'm doing for English! I don't even know if I chose good books. Ones called The Partner and the other's called Juror Number 11. I was browsing around for books in Chapters and they both seemed really interesting by the stuff written at the back of the book. I just hope the theme I chose to connect the books is good, otherwise I'm screwed! Well, The Partner was written by John Grisham, who's books are all kind of alike, and are all good, and are all #1 New York Bestsellers (which perplexes me, since how can there be more than 1 number 1? Oh well.) I already started reading the Partner, and it's pretty interesting. Good start. I ran into Stacy at Chapters, looking for ISP books as well. I'm glad I'm not the only one who leaves everything until last minute!
Spent most of today doing homework, nothing, and playing computer...as usual.

It's so fricken COLD outside! Especially these last few days while I've been outside doing stuff...
On Friday, we (the whole wind symphony) went to the Markham Fair to perform some pieces. Okay wait, let me go backwards a bit.
I had early band practice FOUR times this week. New record! Every single morning was absolute pain to get up because it was so cold outside, and it was nice and warm under my blanky (yes, blanky). Fortunately, I was able to kick myself to get up on time every morning (and sometimes even earlier) and make it to practice every time.
Thursday morning was special though. Whenever I have an early band practice, my alarm is set off to go off at 4:40am. Usually, after an hour and 20 minutes I just kick myself up and do my morning routine. That morning, however, I woke up at 5:15am and thought...
Self1 : Hmm...I need to get up in 15 minutes.
Self2 : Why?
Self1 : Because you take like half an hour to get ready.
Self2 : Ah, true...what happens at 6am?
Self1 : Oh yeah, that's when you have to get up.
Self2 : Ugh, idiot. You just wasted 45 minutes trying to figure that out.
Go me.
Two of those early practices were with the grade 9 bands. They sound horrible. Good luck Mr. Jull.
Okay, so back to the Markham Fair on Friday. I was REALLY cranky by this point! It really didn't help that it was cold and windy outside, and our sheet music blowing everywhere. A bunch of us managed to get ourselves kicked out of line to get some free Koolaid because apparently it was "only for little kids". It was actually pretty funny because we got a video of us talking about child pornography while in line with all those little kids.
Saturday I was out all day at Wonderland. It was freezing outside and so windy! But I guess it was alright, it was bearable. It was a pretty fun day, going on the rides and chilling at the arcade for most of the time. The funniest part of that trip was probably when we were on the ride with the flying potatoes (I think they look like potatoes at least), and it started raining! I didn't want to take out my umbrella right then because I was afraid that we would get kicked off the ride. When the ride stopped, we were stuck suspended in the air, under the pouring rain, since only a few people could get off the ride at a time. This is the point where I decided to take out my umbrella, and me and Mok were the only ones with little tent under ourselves! Haha, I guess it doesn't sound funny at all on here, but everybody there thought it was hilarious.
Let's see what I ate on Saturday...McDonald's, donuts, Wendy's, funnelcake, chips, pizza, coke, iced tea, and half a glass of orange juice...I think I lost about 2 pounds...I've become the envy of many, many, girls =)
Today (Sunday), I went to the Markham Fair, again, but this time to sell knockers on a bun! It was cold, and raining, but I did get to eat several free samples of sausages and prime rib burgers, which were pretty damn good. My knees began to give in though after about two and a half hours of spreading buns and wrapping them in paper towels. What a day...
So now I'm blogging instead of studying for the huge calculus test tomorrow. I so failed. =)
