OMFG CANCUN PWNNNED!!!
I don't even know where to start...maybe I'll just say some stuff now, and continue stuff I remember later...
We arrived at the Paradius Hotel at Cancun to be welcomed with a huge rush of thick warm air. It's so disgustingly hot down there, and my black breezer pants were practically sticking to my legs! We all got wristbands to signify our residence at the hotel, and the colour of the wristband signified the class you were registered as and whether or not you were of legal age to drink'n'stuff. Naturally, we had the lowest class, but I got my silver wristband to order all the drinks I wanted! Anyways, the first night was already getting late, so we got lost finding our building among a lot of twisty paths but eventually got to the room which turned out to be gorgeous! Well, not absoloutely gorgeous, but it was a REALLY nice room, with double beds for me and my brother, each. The most important thing about it was the A/C was really cranked up, and the air wasn't thick and stuffy like the air outside.
During the week, we did several activities like snorkeling, fishing, eating, swimming, walking, drinking, tanning, dance lessons (salsa, step, meringue, uhh wut else?), CLUBBING, dancing, shopping, drinking, touring, bus riding, sleeping, etc...
Okay, there really is just WAY too many stories to tell, way too many details. Seriously, just message me or something and I'll tell you how fucking amazing Cancun was! By the way, I DEFINITELY had VIP access going into the CONGO BONGO, the CRAZIEST fucking club in all of CANCUN BITCHES!!! Hahahaha what a fucking great place.
Deep thought of the day: Once you go to the Congo Bongo, your body feels like dancing everyday.
Aight, that's all for now!

Two new things that piss me of:
1. jajajajajajaajajajajajaajaja!
2. huaahuahuahuuahuahuahuhua!
1. My theory is that portugese speaking people own keyboards that don't contain an 'h' on them and perhaps is replaced by another j. Consequently, it leaves a long trail of a really retarded and annoying substitute for a laugh.
2. My second theory is that spanish/ne other non english speaking people own keyboards where their h key is not an 'h' key to be precise but an automatic 'hu' key just as standard keyboards could theoretically put an automatic 'qu' instead of 'q', although they don't. This 'hu' theory is really stupid since there really aren't that many words that start with hu, so perhaps these people just retardedly attached their h and u keys together so that when they pressed one the other would just follow. Gah this is even worse than the j's.
On a positive note, I have finally finished my volunteering service! No more biking to that stupid clinic and doing miscellaneous nothing ever again! Grr that job was so damn boring. Oh well, it's OVER OVER OVER!!!
Plus, I'm going to Cancun on Sunday to Sunday!!! It's going to be great; all expenses paid for, old enough to drink (uh oh). Ahhh...just thought I had to announce this in case I didn't blog tomorrow. I'm so excited!
Deep thought of the day: Freedom can only be appreciated with hardship.

Me and Jim baked an Ogopogo Cake for Joyce Chau's bday thing. Let's go over some of the events...
At the start, we needed room temperature butter, so I stuck some butter in the microwave for 10 seconds. Jim didn't think it was soft enough, so he stuck it in for 30 seconds when I wasn't watching and the butter came out all melted! So we had to stick it into the freezer to solidify again.
After Jim used the hand blender, it was literally smoking.
Our first batch of icing was way too buttery-tasting because we used regular butter instead of unsalted. Even though our second batch used unsalted, it still tasted kind of buttery. I guess that was just a bad recipe for icing.
I was thinking of making a cake on top of a cake, making a 'cooked' nemo on top of a plate, but then we decided to follow the recipe by baking the cake in the bundt pan. So then I decided that we should make it a Nemopogo, but then after we painted the whole thing orange, we were too lazy to paint the thick white stripes. Now it just looks really retarded *sigh.
The recipe calls to bake for 40 minutes. We baked for 2 hours.
We took 7 hours to complete the cake.
It's really ugly, and the icing tastes funny.
Bon appetite to the people tomorrow! (oh boy...)
Deep thought of the day: Having a temperature dial without numbers does pose its difficulties.

Got a few PS2 games as of late. Here's the list:
Need for Speed: Underground
Bust-A-Move 2
Jet Li: Rise to Honour
Silent Hill 4: The Room
Need for Speed
I've played it before on Sean's purchased version, so I know that it's a pretty good game already. At least it's better than the racing game I got (NASCAR Thunder 2004). The thing I like about this game is the car customizing to make it look all fancy n' stuff. I mean, NASCAR has the same thing too, but it's a lot crappier to say the least. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble adjusting to the drifting and power sliding in Need for Speed because you don't use the breaks to slide and rather just lift the gas and literally let your car drift through. I guess it's just more logical...
Bust-A-Move 2
Old school, for sure. Everybody's played it before, just that this one has special character things so that when you make many bubbles drop you trigger off special moves of some sort. It's fun, a good party game I guess. I suck at it, and can't play it for a long time, lol.
Jet Li
Now, when this first came out, I thought that it would be a pretty stupid game. I mean, on the preview that I saw it on, his skin colour was green, which was a bit of a turn-off. Anyways, I decided to buy it because I have a deficiency in games (or so it feels at least). Fortunately, the game turned out more fun than I expected. For starters, his skin wasn't green (that'd just be weird), although I think his cheeks are a little too accented. The game is really simple, it's mostly just find a guy and attack him using the analog stick, so essentially there's only one attack button, but it makes you do all these crazy acrobatic attacks if you just press it consecutively in a combo-like fashion making the player feel like they've really accomplished a lot. However, this game isn't really the type of party thriller because after a bit it seems really stupid to the people watching. It's really more entertaining for the player to go through it at their own pace and do whatever cool tricks to impress themselves. Oh well, I'm totally cool with that. The graphics aren't bad either.
Silent Hill 4
OMGWTF! I can't play this game alone, it's just too weird. Okay, the trailor makes the game look super freaky with all those creepy creatures and all, so that's why I bought the game. I thought I'd be man enough to laugh at them, but it's just so creepy thinking what's going to appear ahead! Okay okay, it's really not that bad once you get past the first level. The first level has a lot of zombie things which are annoyingly creepy because they kind of float towards you and plunge their fists in your body. They're also really creepy because when they're nearby the game has a really eerie music in the background and then I just frantically run around looking for the zombie to kill it and stop the eerie music! After the first level, there weren't actually that many zombies in the levels, so it was bearable because most of the other creatures will stay down after you beat them down with the steel pipe and step on them. Which brings me to the moral of the game: When you're faced with some kind of squishy or floating undead, all you need is a steel pipe and a foot. Interesting game, only fun with more people to help solve the puzzles.
Too bad I can't find a store that sells a working version of Frequency. It's such a cool game, but I guess it's just too old. Bah!
Deep thought of the day: Market Village REALLY doesn't have enough parking, like holy shit.
Aight, that's all for now!

Ahh, so tired. Too much gunbound at 3 in the morning with work a few hours later *sigh.
So McDonalds finally calls me in today asking if I was still interested in working there, and I was just like "YOU FUCKING BASTARDS! NOW YOU CALL ME?!". Actually, it was just more like "Uh, no, hehe." but yeah I'm kinda pissed that they called so late. Well duh, people like me are going away after summer so they need to train people now. Great. Why am I so anxious to work at McDonalds? I have my reasons =)
Anyways, me and Jim are set for Chau's gathering dinner thing. GO OGOPOGO! You'll see.
.KeN - damn u mcdonald's! - ah crush says:
hmm
.KeN - damn u mcdonald's! - ah crush says:

J-I-M-B-O - BOOYAA!!! 80 PUSH-UPS!! says:

So I did a little test and analysis based on general gaming on the Internet. I spent some time on seeing how similar people act while in the gaming atmosphere and wonder if they act like that in real life.
At first thought, one might think that by meeting and conversing with others on the Internet, you open a new world to discover their personality and character to some degree at least. Regardless of meeting via person or via keyboard, the words and thoughts should more or less be the same...ideally at least. Of course, that's realistically just not true.
Now let's get into gaming. People play games because they want to have fun and get away from stress and life itself. Its general purpose remains to be a form of escape from reality and forcing yourself into a competitive atmosphere with a goal that is much easier to achieve and more fun. There's nothing wrong with a little gaming, so long as you can keep it at a rational level.
The problem I find when it comes to gaming is the competitiveness of it. Unlike games that don't fall under console, pc, or any electronic form for that matter, online gaming has absolutely no physical or useful reward to becoming the best or trying to portray yourself as a superior individual. As people game to make theirselves better, sometimes the best way is to completely obliterate the competition, which just means you're perhaps more skilled in the game or just plain lucky (this issue is fine, there's nothing wrong with being good).
However, there are people who think they are far superior not only as a gamer but as a general person. Online gaming has turned healthy competition into a virtual atmosphere full of sore losers, bad winners, and general jerks and assholes that just don't know when to shut up. As the cursing and cussing flies from screen to screen, people get the impression that they're speech and performance brings superiority with it. Consequently, it annoys others and pisses them off to a degree where they break into keyboard tantrums and can't find the right words to say to mark them as equal.
So just why do we have these losers in the online gaming atmosphere? It's quite simple. In real life, we tend to improvise less proficiently on our speech and performance just because there's that great probability of turning out to look like a complete idiot. Inside a computer, however, people can't see your reactions or your physique to judge what kind of person you are, so any geek sitting in front of a computer screen could be that jerk trying to talk down to you. We have people who take the game far too seriously and that every little detail matters to them since that's just what made them that good. Like anybody cares, really. For those that realize that it's just a game, it just opens their eyes to see the geek in others. I think it's pretty sad.
Why do people take games so seriously? I don't know. I concern about my general status in games too, but if it gets tainted, then so be it. I guess I'm just not that good.
Deep thought of the day: People take games far too seriously, it's simply just depressing.
