It's funny how hanging around the same people all the time can really influence the way they talk. I've noticed that almost all the guys on my floor talk the same, it's reallly weird, and funny, lol. Along the most popular lines are:

1. Reeeeaaaalllllyyyy
2. I'm VISIBLY upset!
3. Get up!
4. One time!
5. I'm all in! (yeah, poker is a popular thing, as it is around your area too I'm sure)

On another note, Irene is TOTALLY awesome since she hooked me up with a lot of BoA music videos and what looks like the songs from all of BoA's albums!!!

Deep thought of the day: Oh I'm so screwed for my algebra midterm -_-; ...

Aight, that's all for now.

So how about those 3am fire alarms? Not so hot I guess when you have 8:30 class the next day with a quiz and a midterm the day after. No, absolutely not a fan.

On the upside, I'm feeling a 90 come friday. Hopefully.

Deep thought of the day: Sweet it's thursday!!!

Aight, that's all for now.

I fucking hate my calculus lab instructor. I can't believe she accused me of cheating and threatened to take away my paper and give me a 0. Honestly, of all people, me. I was so close to punching her or just shoving the paper in her face. I haven't been so pissed off in a loooong time.

Deep thought of the day: People really need to think twice before saying things.

Aight, that's all for now.

I just felt like I should post something since it's been a while. So anyways, my weekend has been kinda hellish. Not that I was having a bad time, just been stressed out that I had a lot of work ahead of me. Essentially, on thursday night/friday morning (morning morning) I was cramming to get a computers program that I didn't end up finishing, but submitted anyways. I can't understand why it was doing this...

--------------
For example...
i = 0;
i2 = 0;

read_book(file reading stuff and all, just some function);

i = 7892310;
i2 = 20;
--------------

And no, i and i2 were not used anywhere within the function. A little memory mis-allocation somewhere? I don't know, but when i woke up 20 minutes before submission and I was rushing to document my code, my integers started working again! But wasn't reading the stuff right anyways, so it didn't really mattered. It compiles, who cares!

And so on sunday I had a business meeting, then lessons, and then a jazz practice. This time was stressing since I was deciding whether I would prepare the material for my business group or write music for my jazz practice since I didn't have time for both. Academics came first, naturally. Lessons were quite disappointing since the instructor decided not to show up for the first lesson. Apparently it was posted SOMEWHERE that it was postponed to next week, but nobody knew that. Sooo...that was a good waste of an hour and a bit.

Bleh, was quite a messy weekend. S'all good, went with the 'rents to a nice dinner at Golf's as my birthday dinner, it was nice. Oh, I haven't mentioned my diminishing appetite lately. Yeah, I'm not sure why, but somehow I've been eating less and less lately, it's weird. And unhealthy. My excuse is I'm on a diet; gotta burn down to 110 lbs, right? So anyways, we went to dinner. Being my birthday dinner, and because my eyes are bigger than my stomach, I just had to order the surf & turf, AND I had to upgrade my soup to a French onion soup, which was delicious. It was also very filling. By the time I had a bit of bread, salad bar, and soup, I was starting to get full...and I had a surf and turf coming still! Well, I finished it. Somehow. I don't know how that happened, but you can imagine how stuffed I was by the end o.O . So the food is taken away, and the waitress asks if we wanted desserts. Mom passes. Dad passes. Everyone looks at me, and naturally, I had to say yes, haha. Good caramel apple cake something. Great dinner.

I'm so glad the weekend's over though.

Deep thought of the day: I've got too much on my plate...

Aight, that's all for now.

So anyways, even though it's a couple days later, I'd like to say my birthday went rather well. Thanks to everybody who come out to the dinner and to those who tried to come but were busy. I really like the gifts I got too! Among them I received...

From Irene and Edith, an absolutely adorable hand puppet fuzzy doggy which is just adorable~!

A very fancy/well-made/personalized mug from Danny, Jason, Tung, and I think Elaine? LoL, I love it! I'll be drinking lots of coke from that I reckon.

"Killer Poker" book from Lo and I think Drew. Awesome!!! One of THE most entertaining books I've read, very very good pick. You guys rock!

And of course, thanks to the girls of 4th floor north that baked a cake for me and AJ for our birthdays. I think I'm gonna go get some now, before I forget! Thanks people for an awesome birthday =) !

Deep thought of the day: I have so much work to do now, wtf.

Aight, that's all for now.

Birthday!!! I wonder if it's cold outside...

I've calculated my scores, and since I've gotten here, I've won 22-6 games of euchre. I fucking own you. =)

So who wants to play euchre tonight?

Deep thought of the day: I've done nothing this weekend, I'm so screwed this week! >_<

Aight, that's all for now.

Daaaaaammmnnnn!

And this is why I love Thursday class.

You know what's harder then trying to cope with a depression? Trying to cope with a depression without working computer games. Honestly, why does my computer have to suck. Recently Gunbound has been crashing my computer to the point where I'd have to reboot, and when I reboot, the computer locks up and won't even load into the BIOS unless I unplug the main power and plug it back in. God only knows why that works, but at least it works. The gameplay for CS is way to skippy and my refresh rate is ridiculously low, so it's really hard to play. Subspace is simply way too laggy to play, so that's completely hopeless. Now all I have to pass the time is homework while listening to music that makes me even more depressed. Doing homework isn't helping that much though; I feel like I have a lot of work to do, but I really don't. The work that I wouldn't mind doing is too stupid and easy, and would consequently be more of a waste of time than playing computer (or trying to). The work that I should do, I don't want to do since it's unclear and confusing.

I was looking into this term as a fresh new start, but everything is really pissing me off, and now I'm in such a deep funk.

Deep thought of the day: Like digging a hole for myself...at least the digging keeps my mind partially occupied.

Aight, that's all for now.

Why does it seem like everything is turning around this year? It seems like so many of the things that were so good last year have just completely turn around on me. Everything is just fucking different, or worse yet, just fucking wrong. It seems so hard to get what I want. I know things in life need to be earned, but this is just ridiculous. I've given up a lot of large interests and am pointing in a new direction.

Yeah, this is very vague. I'm so stressed out already and it's only been like a week into school. I wish things just went the way I wanted for once.

Deep thought of the day: I hope everything goes wrong right now, so that things could only go right afterwards.

Aight, that's all for now.

I started out this term thinking that 8:30am classes everyday would be tiring, but it turns out to be not so bad. Of course, I don't think there'd be any way I could do this if I kept going to bed after midnight like I usually do, so lately I've been going to bed really early. Might as well do it as long as I have time. So anyways, 8:30am classes aren't as bad as I originally imagined it to be. In fact, I really enjoyed my first two classes of my day today. It really does help when I'm awake in class, because when I'm half-asleep like I usually am, I just tend to not give a damn, and that makes the class even more boring.

It also really helps that my teachers are really cool this term. Like, they're ALL better, quite surprisingly. My algebra121 teacher is way too into proofs, it's almost scary. No, it IS scary, but I'm down with that, because it makes class interesting. Basically, she stresses how proofs can be boring, that's why we have to think of it more as a work of art! When you finish a proof, you can marvel at the talent and ingenuity you had just performed, it's actually quite funny.

My econ prof is soooo good. He's funny and makes the class interesting. It's so much easier to absorb information from him than my old econ teaching (freaking Gallego), and consequently I actually really enjoy the course now.

My calc teacher is awesome. Who'd thought that I'd enjoy a class on trig integrals. I mean, it's not that integrals are awesome, but this teacher is just really smart and funny.

Computers class has been taken to a new level of hilarity. Like geez, this guy isn't even teaching the lesson. He's some Russian guy who speaks with a really funny accent, and he keeps trailing off talking about different things. The funniest part is that he keeps zoning out, and it's really funny cuz he gets this look of bewilder and confusion all of a sudden. Genuinely entertaining!

My business teacher last term was very good. She kept the topics interesting and tried to be very helpful. My teacher this term is quite good too. I don't really wanna say he's much better, but he certainly talks louder. I'm sitting about halfway up the lecture hall, and it sounds like he's yelling at me. So loud, but a good teacher none the less.

My least favourite teacher is my algebra122 teacher. I've only had one class so far, and he was kind of half-asleep, seemed. He's not terrible, he's just not as good as the others. Wasn't particularly interesting, but it's algebra, so I'll live. His x's look like n's, that's kinda confusing, lol.

School is much better this term. Hope it stays this way.

Deep thought of the day: I think I'm really completely starting over new.

Aight, that's all for now.

I hate it. You don't understand. Sometimes you make me feel so heartless.

Wooooot, new year!!!

Okay, so there are some things I'm gonna do this year:

1. I'm not drinking, unless it's just a bit of wine at an expensive dinner with my family n' stuffz.
2. I'm most soitenly gonna get a 90+ average this coming term, ya? Okay, that probably won't happen.
3. Finish scarf.
4. Throw together a yearbook of my 1st year university.
5. Eat at least two meals a day.

I think most of that seems highly plausible, rite? Rite!??

Deep thought of the day: New year, new start, time to start making impossible goals again!

Aight, that's all for now.
