Wooooo it's a beautiful day!! And a really hot one at that, but that's okay because I'm inside an air-conditioned office building *thumbs up!*.

I took transit to work again, and I missed my stop on the subway, again, because I fell asleep on the subway, again. At least it's pretty easy to take a train backwards on the subway. The worst is falling asleep on the bus and finding out I missed the stop 4 or 5 stops later, ugh.

I find that when I'm riding a the bus or on the subway, if I'm not sleeping, there's not much to look at. TTC tries to post advertisements and stuff, but there's only like 2 or 3 within peripheral vision before I actually have to turn my head or move around to see the others, which looks just a bit awkward. So thus I had a problem, like on the bus ride to Finch this morning. The bus ride was too short to be worth trying to take a nap, so I didn't bother with that. So what was I supposed to do for the duration of the ride? Sit there and do nothing, sure, I can do that. I just don't know what to do with my eyes though. Fortunately, there was a really cute girl sitting across from me on the bus, and I leave it that I had absolutely no other choice but to basically watch her for the greater duration of the ride, otherwise I would be moving my head around and stuff, looking awkward. I think it was fate. :)

I actually got a lot of stuff done today, despite half of the people not in the office. Feels good.

Deep thought of the day (and new favourite quote): Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

Aight, that's all for now!

The phrase "Microsoft Works" can now officially be declared as an oxymoron. I've had problems using programming languages before, but I've never seen one that completely over-rided my commands. Like, wow. That company really needs to fire some of the morons that created Visual Basic, because IT DOESN'T FRICKEN WORK. FADLHSDFSDFKJNBALSKFN

Deep thought of the day: Microsoft, does NOT work!

Aight, that's all for now.

You know you've been playing too much WoW when you start dreaming about it. So some time this morning I was having a weird dream about playing WoW :). The odd thing is, there was me, Chris, Gwun, Lo, and apparently Jason was playing too. Which is weird, but whatever. The funniest part about this dream was that we had like 5 quests to do in some graveyard instance, and Jason starts saying how he has a quest with an objective that says beat Chris with a graveyard stick! Now knowing Jason's nature, that didn't seem too farfetched at the moment. But when I woke up later, I began to realize a few things:
1) Jason doesn't play WoW.
2) WoW doesn't know our personal names, I hope.
3) Doesn't Jason usually beat on Lo?
4) What the hell is a graveyard stick?!
The 3rd issue got me to thinking that maybe my dream was implying something...something to do with Jason...beating Chris with a graveyard stick. I don't know, I'm pretty damn confused myself.

On another note, Sean's party on Saturday was awesome. Unfortunately, there wasn't as much drinking as I had anticipated. Thing is, everybody tends to stop drinking after their first or second drink because in reality, a lot of us don't really like alcahol. Personally, I was ready to get wasted so bad and was almost certain I was gonna puke sometime during that night, but apparently that didn't happen. At least I don't need to buy alcahol for a while because I already had to force gwun to take home my Crown Royal again, this time along with a half-finished bottle of Bailey's. Despite not getting wasted, I had a fun time just chilling in the hot tub, by the piano, and most of all, in my fort! Oh, and Isabel got a really neat picture where the redeye in my eyes somehow created small pink hearts in my eyes, lol.

Deep thought of the day: I really need to start sleeping earlier.

Aight, that's all for now.

Driving when I'm really tired and having the sun in my eyes could very well lead to my demise some day. Just yesterday when I was driving downtown on my way home, I was just looking at the drivers in the oncoming and I saw some bald man thinking "Hehe, bald guy." Passing by the car, turns out it really was not a man. In fact, it was definitely a woman, with long blonde hair. Wow. Well, technically, I suppose it could be a man, but I won't get into that.

Some drivers are so stupid. I can not even begin to explain how much I hate a lot people who drive on the highway because their so freaking retarded. It's one thing if someone is being an ass and just weaving lanes to get ahead, but it's another thing when I'm trying to change lanes and the car coming up behind in the lane I'm changing to doesn't even notice me signalling and moving in. HONESTLY. See, this happened to me yesterday on the way to work, and the idiot of a woman decides to horn me, and I can see her smiling and shaking her head as if my lane change was ridiculous. LEARN TO DRIVE, MORON! GOSH. -_-;

I wish the company would hire someone to assist me on my current databasing project at work; I don't know if I can finish this before I leave in August. :S

Deep thought of the day: Some people are SO stupid, AHH!

Aight, that's all for now.

Mmm...monday morning...back in the ol' cubicle...gotta luv it. Whoo I'm actually in a pretty good mood right now, mostly since the song I'm listening to is really really good. I'm not really sure what it's called, but it's sung by Guang Liang, and all of his songs are really good, so that doesn't really narrow it down. Not like many of you would know who he is anyways, lol.

...

Life seems to feel so odd nowadays. I don't really know where I'm heading. I don't know whether I should feel fortunate or unlucky. Check that, I know I should feel fortunate because I'm pretty lucky for a lot of things I have like great friends and a sweet summer job, and I do appreciate all of it. I just feel like there's something missing, something that would just make it all just perfect. Hm.

Deep thought of the day: Life is so confusing.

Aight, that's all for now.

Sooooooo boooooorrrrrreeeedddd!!! They're running out of things for me to do at work, it sucks! After taking the time for self-training how to do a lot of the company things, everything they give me to do only takes a short period of time, so now there's nothing to do and it's passed the busy part of the month cuz we're done working with earnings. Does this mean I'm going to be doing nothing for the rest of the month? Ugh. -_-; As a result I've been reading my DE stuff at work for the past few days. Honestly. NO WORK! Buh.

Deep thought of the day: Doing nothing has never been so hard.

Aight, that's all for now.

I swear, I can't go ANYWHERE without getting lost the first time! So I drove into Waterloo yesterday for the first time to write my BU227 exam, and well and behold, I get lost. ON KING STREET! I actually followed the directions on google maps fine, and was on the final stretch that was basically go west on King St E, which becomes King St W, then King St S, and finally King St N. So I get on to King St E and start driving in the right direction (I can't confirm that for sure, but I'm pretty sure if I went in the wrong direction, this story would definitely be much longer.) So I'm driving along, and of course I'm just expecting King St to go on for a long time modifying it's direction, whatever. After a long time, I decide to check the street signs, and look, suddenly I'm driving on Weber! Then I look around and I'm in downtown Kitchener!! Last time I recall, I was PRETTY sure King and Weber were parallel streets (anybody that went to WLU or UW could probably confirm this). I have NO idea how I could've gone from King to Weber without ever turning! WTF!! Sigh, this could only happen to me >_<" !!

When I was driving Tung home (for the very first time, mind you), I got to his house fine and dropped him off. Then he tells me a different set of directions that would be more ideal for me getting home, so I try following them, and suddenly I have no idea where I am! I tried tracing my way back to Tung's house, but then I couldn't recognize the streets I came from since it was so dark. So now I was stuck in the middle of this residential labyrinth, all encompassed within 16th, Major Mac, McCowan, and Hwy 48! I must've spent a good 20 minutes just trying all these small streets. So many streets there have dead ends, wtf!!

I spent about 6 hours driving yesterday :S

Deep thought of the day: Experimental runs are CLEARLY experimental!

Aight, that's all for now.

Damnit! I forgot there was a company breakfast today, and I already bought my coffee and danish! Looks like I'm having 2 breakfasts today... -_-;

On Saturday we decided to do some cooking. Me, Lo, Sean, Jason, Diana, Kevin, and Ken C got together and prepared:
1. Spinach salad with apples, mandarin oranges, and walnuts
2. Mushroom chicken fettucinni alfredo
3. Lemon meringue custard
Needless to say, everything tasted pretty good, although the custard could use a little more time in the oven! ^^;

Pictures here.

Deep thought of the day: Coriography can't be overdone, rather over exaggerated.

Aight, that's all for now.

Driving on the highway doesn't require any particular attention when there's rush hour traffic. It doesn't require your hands, since you're pretty much driving in a straight line so long as the road isn't too curvy, and you don't even need to be watching traffic, so long as you can see the car in front of you somewhere in your periferal (right spelling?) vision. However, falling asleep isn't the brightest thing. I mean, if you've come to a complete stop during rush hour traffic, then the worst that can happen is that some people get angry and you get horned. However, if you fall asleep while letting the car roll forward a bit, not only will people get and angry and you'll get horned, but you'll also have a bit of a car crash to deal with in the middle of the highway, which naturally is always a fun situation.

No wonder traffic was slow yesterday as there was some car crash in one of the middle lanes, causing a 3 to 1 lane merge. That still doesn't explain how the day before took me even longer though.

Driving really fast on the highway is so fun. In the Corolla, once I start hitting 120, the car begins to shake and becomes rather difficult to control. It feels like it's about to completely fly off the road! Which would be the case if I hit anything, lol.

Deep thought of the day: Good ol' Don Valley Parking Lot...

Aight, that's all for now.

Time it took me to get to work this morning: 40 minutes
Time it took me to get home from work yesterday: 2 HOURS

I know rush hour traffic is bad, but holy crap! I thought by leaving my office at 4 I would at least be able to avoid some of the rush hour traffic, but apparently not! I swear my lane is always the slowest too. If I decide to change lanes, that lane suddenly stops moving and the original lane starts moving forward! What the hellllll, it's like I was never meant to go home. You have no idea how happy I was to pull up to my street! -_-;

I nearly ran over a seagull on the way to work today, haha. Stupid birds, nobody asked you to randomly fly onto the middle of the road. I think I have a full day of visual basic ahead of me. Yay... :/

Deep thought of the day: I can't keep my eyes open, let alone think...

Aight, that's all for now.

I drove downtown and made it all the way to work by myself today! I feel like such a big boy. Okay, not really. Driving downtown isn't as big of a deal as people say it is; I found it rather easy. Sure, it's busy, and there are lots of people, but just move with the traffic and it's all good. Highway driving was fun as I almost missed my exit twice! I seem to be good at that.

Pedestrians downtown are so dumb. Honestly, there's no reason to be so ignorant to traffic, as it just makes it that more dangerous to drive downtown. If the light is turning yellow, that doesn't mean you can start walking. And I don't mean yellow for oncoming direction, I mean yellow for traffic that would otherwise prevent passage at all! Honestly, WAIT!! I saw this woman just do that just now and she was like the only one on the walkway for a good 5 seconds. What's the rush? She made it to the otherside a couple seconds ahead of me, wow. And in the end, there could've been cars that might decide to drive through the yellow, and then there'd be a mess. I hope she gets hit one of these days, teach her to obey traffic lights! But it's not just her, I've seen people do it numerous times. It annoys the hell out of me. Pedestrians can be so stupid.

I might try and blog everyday now, at least at work, considering I don't have much else to do anyways.

Deep thought of the day: It's 8:00am, who thinks this early?

Aight, that's all for now.
